As Fundraising Lead- South, you will lead Philanthropy and Corporate fundraising across your region, developing relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, senior business leaders and corporate partners. 

You will manage Centre Fundraising Managers, and support them on planning and prioritisation, work with Fundraising Boards as appropriate, and share best practice across Maggie’s. You will also help develop new fundraising opportunities. 

This role requires a confident and collaborative leader who can coach teams, manage multiple stakeholders, work independently across a large region, representing Maggie’s with clarity and credibility.

There are four fundraising leads covering Scotland, North and North Wales, Midlands and South Wales and South. This role will work closely with the following centres: Barts, Royal Marsden, West London, Royal Free, Cambridge and Southampton (Kent, Poole, Bristol – not yet open).

Your work will ensure that every event is safe, well organised and provides an exceptional experience for participants and supporters.

You will play an important role in engaging and supporting participants throughout their journey, helping them feel motivated, valued and connected to Trinity Hospice. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications, you will help deliver compelling campaigns that drive participation and maximise income. You will also use data and insight to monitor performance, evaluate success and identify opportunities to improve and grow the events programme.

We’re looking for a Programme Manager to apply project management methodologies to our Dogs Trust Ireland transformation programme, which will involve migrating a legacy customer relationship management (CRM) system to Salesforce.

What does this role do?
As Programme Manager (Dogs Trust Ireland CRM Transformation), you will:

• apply standardised project management lifecycles, methodologies and governance to all activity in the Dogs Trust Ireland transformation programme, ensuring all work is aligned with wider programme objectives,
• work with key stakeholders to define and document the project scope, objectives and outcomes, and then deliver organisational change and embed new ways of working,
• work closely with the CRM implementation partner, Product Owner and Dogs Trust UK technical teams to shape the solution, coordinate and manage delivery, ensuring agreed objectives and timelines are met,
• manage and track dependencies throughout, and work with the Portfolio team to provide delivery assurance.

While this role will be based at our London office with hybrid working, the post holder will be expected to travel regularly to Dogs Trust Ireland offices in Dublin. This role is a fixed term contract until December 2027.

About The Role 

We’re looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Senior Fundraising / Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead on, develop, grow and relationship manage our portfolio of corporate partners through business development, and relationship management. You will also support the Senior Management Team with their existing corporate partners, and their relationships. The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join us as Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. The Head of Fundraising will work collaboratively with the Individual Giving and Engagement team to drive new business pipelining and amplify fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent SCAA at external events and sector initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced team leader with significant experience working across a variety of fundraising disciplines and of developing and implementing fundraising strategies.

The successful candidate can be based from home, but this role will require regular travel to our bases at Perth and Aberdeen Airports and throughout Scotland. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

Essential

• Strong background in a variety of fundraising disciplines and a track record in growing fundraising income over multiple years within a charity, non-profit or values-led organisation.

• Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies aligned to organisational objectives.

Qualifications

a)Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent (i.e. capacity to learn at pace, analyse information, apply insight, exercise judgement, and sustain delivery through complexity and challenge).

b)Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g. fundraising, marketing, communications), and membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IoF, CIM)

Desirable: Evidence of accredited continuous professional development (Level 7), e.g. digital transformation, data‑led growth, commercial strategy.

Experience

Overview of Job

The Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering Gingerbread’s fundraising plans. The role leads our trusts and grants programme, producing strong, well‑evidenced proposals, building positive relationships with funders and ensuring our reporting clearly reflects our impact. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, they will help ensure fundraising is embedded in our work and aligned with Gingerbread’s strategic goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Trusts Executive to help us achieve our vision by supporting the growth of our fundraising income through brilliant cultivation and stewardship of charitable trusts and foundations that align with our cause. With support from the Philanthropy and Trusts manager, this role will focus on researching and preparing applications to new and existing trust funders, as well as providing creative reports that demonstrate the impact of their funding.

This is an opportunity to

• Work with the Philanthropy and Trusts Manager to develop applications to prospective funders and work to agreed targets to achieve income growth.
• Maintain a pipeline of trusts and foundations and provide excellent stewardship and reporting, as appropriate.
• Through strategic research, identify and prioritise potential trust funders for Together for Short Lives.
• Responsibility for reporting impact to funders and ensuring funders receive meaningful updates on outcomes.

You will have

• Excellent written skills with the ability to explain, promote and present Together for Short Lives’ activities in clear, succinct and persuasive language
• Ability to design and write engaging and creative proposals.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to talk confidently to funders over the phone.
