Supporter Experience Officer

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Supporter Experience Officer to help deliver an exceptional experience for our donors and event supporters. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our supporter data is accurate and meaningful, enabling us to communicate in a personal, timely, and inspiring way. 

Working closely with the wider fundraising team, you’ll help develop creative and engaging supporter journeys, automate processes, and develop lasting relationships with the people who make our work possible.

What you’ll do:

• Manage supporter data and segmentation for mailings, e-newsletters, and campaigns
• Deliver timely, personalised thank-you messages and donor communications
• Support donor retention by monitoring giving patterns and engaging lapsed supporters
• Develop supporter journeys and automated touchpoints across email and CRM
• Help ensure every donor feels valued and connected to Treloar’s mission
• Contribute to events and fundraising campaigns, occasionally outside office hours 

Salary:

£27,532 per annum (Term-time only contract — pro rata for part-time, based on 42 hours)

£27,507 per annum (Full-year contract — pro rata for part-time, based on 36.5 hours)

• Experience working with supporter databases (CRM experience ideal)
• Good level of standard education including Maths and English

What does this role do?
As Head of Estates, Facilities and Safety, you will:

• develop and deliver a long-term commercial property strategy, working with colleagues responsible for centres and shops.

The Billings Support Administrator will be responsible for supporting the essential work of billing and credit control. You will work closely with the Billings & Contracts Officer to review processes and identify areas of improvement. Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Ledger & Billing

• Supporting the process of billing admin including interface with finance systems
• Monthly billing or as required according to CYP contracts
• Allocate received cash to invoices in the Finance system
• Ad Hoc invoicing

Help maintain an accurate billing sheet

• Pursue debts over 30 days
• Send out all copy invoices as and when required
• Proactively resolve issues and queries
• Ensure the month end cut off deadlines are met
• Ensure risk is identified and captured, assessed, adequately mitigated, and reported/escalated where appropriate

Management of self and others

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including all budget holders.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

The Role
Working closely with the Head of High Value Relationships and line managing an excellent Senior Officer who manages a strong pipeline of lower level trust donors to secure the team target of £700k

Build an ambitious portfolio of funders by securing predominantly six to seven figure multi-year funding from trusts and foundations.

Oversee and personally undertake detailed prospect research, ensuring pipelines continue to build with new funders.

Ensure existing funders are stewarded, retained, and grown through first class cultivation plans and excellent account management.

The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of successfully securing a programme of six figure+ gifts from trusts & foundations.

Demonstrable experience of personally writing compelling proposals that have led to significant gifts.

Experience of personally managing productive relationships with existing major funders (at the six figure+ level).

Ideally previous line management experience.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager
Location: Hearing Dogs Head Office, Saunderton near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with very flexible hybrid working.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager to develop and secure six and seven figure, multi-year grants from trusts, foundations and other institutional grant funders, e.g. the National Lottery.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now building a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, grow their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.

Reporting to the Head of Trusts and Foundations, this role will work as part of a small but high department to deliver objectives and income targets. The role will deputise for the Head of Trusts and Foundations as required and support in the development of the strategy for the department, working across the organisation with colleagues, senior staff, trustees and external trusts and foundation contacts. A key focus of the role will be making bids and writing applications to maximise financial support from charitable trusts and foundations in a team which has a target of £1.15m in 2025-26, growing to £2.1m by 2029-30.

The ideal candidates will have a substantial background in Trusts and Foundation fundraising within the charity sector and experience of delivering excellent stewardship with external stakeholders. You will have experience of large scale and complex (£ six/seven figure) bid writing for specific projects over multiple years. Excellent and persuasive writing skills and a sharp eye for details will be essential alongside strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. You will be approachable, with a  ‘hands-on’ approach and a flexible ‘can do’ proactive attitude and, importantly, you will have a commitment to understand the needs of Deaf People and a commitment to our values and  culture.

Gilgal Birmingham is a specialist domestic abuse charity providing refuge accommodation and community-based support for women and children at risk of, or experiencing, domestic abuse. We offer emergency refuge spaces and a growing range of outreach services that help women rebuild their lives, access safety, and move towards independence.

We are seeking a Grants and Trusts Manager to secure and manage the funding that enables this vital work. This is a key strategic role leading our grants, trusts, statutory funding and corporate income pipeline, working closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team. You will be responsible for prospect research, high-quality bid writing, reporting, and building strong relationships with funders and partners. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can manage the full fundraising lifecycle and contribute to the growth of a life-changing service.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning

• Work with the CEO to implement Gilgal’s Fundraising and Income Generation Strategy.

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and corporate partners.

• Prepare a rolling income generation plan with timelines and bid targets.

• Support the CEO in identifying opportunities for partnership bids and collaborative tenders.

Grants and Trusts

• Research and identify suitable funding opportunities aligned with Gilgal’s priorities.

• Develop strong, evidence-based funding proposals with clear outcomes and robust budgets.

• Coordinate with service leads and finance staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage the full bid lifecycle, from identification through to submission, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Maintain a funding tracker with deadlines, progress updates, and reporting requirements.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, trusts, commissioners, and partners.

• Provide ongoing updates to funders to strengthen long-term partnerships.

• Attend relevant meetings, events, and briefings.

Reporting and Monitoring

• Produce clear, impact-focused reports for funders and stakeholders.

• Work with colleagues to collect and analyse outcomes data to inform bids and reporting.

• Review successful and unsuccessful bids to identify trends and improve future applications.

• Support the CEO and Finance Director in aligning budgets with funder requirements.

• Contribute to regular Funding Overview Reports and Income Generation Plans for the Board.

Corporate and Individual Fundraising Support

• Support the CEO in developing relationships with corporate partners and donors.

• Contribute to wider fundraising initiatives as needed.

Other Responsibilities

• Uphold confidentiality and data protection in line with Gilgal’s policies and the Data Protection Act.

• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion.

• Contribute to organisational planning, evaluation, and policy development.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven track record in trusts and grants fundraising at a senior level.

• Experience in bid writing and grant management within the charity or public sector.

• Strong understanding of trust, foundation, and statutory funding landscapes.

• Excellent written communication and persuasive writing skills.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Financial literacy and ability to prepare project budgets.

• A collaborative, flexible, and motivated approach to work.

Desirable

• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or similar.

• Experience using CRM or fundraising databases.

• Experience in the domestic abuse, housing, or social care sectors.

• Experience with corporate fundraising or CSR partnerships.

• Knowledge of impact measurement and theory of change.

• Knowledge of funders in Birmingham/West Midlands and/or with an interest in domestic abuse.

Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for a proactive individual with good storytelling skills to produce fundraising applications and reports that inspire. As part of GCT’s Fundraising & Communications team, you will work closely with the Senior Development Manager to secure grant funding from Trusts & Foundations across our programme portfolio (including island restoration, community resilience, ocean protection and plastic pollution topics), with an increasing focus on securing multi-year funding to embed sustainability in our programme delivery.

You will be a great writer, researcher and comfortable working with numbers, enabling you to identify new fundraising opportunities and develop engaging proposals and reports with clear budgets. You will also be an organised individual with great attention to detail, ensuring you can effectively balance your time across competing deadlines and tasks.

We are looking for someone with: 

• 1-2 years proven experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising. 

• Experience working with budgets in Excel. 

• Experience of working with a database and managing contact lists and records. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Increasing restricted & unrestricted income from Trusts & Foundations in line with GCT’s fundraising strategy with the Senior Development Manager 

• Supporting keeping our database, internal documents and files up-to-date and GDPR compliant for Trusts & Foundations and external contacts. 

• Producing high quality proposals and reports, ensuring consultation of key GCT team members and partners in their development, and submitting these to meet all deadlines. 

• Support the Senior Development Manager with applications for multi-year grants, such as writing and budget inputs, Theory of Change inputs and organising supplementary materials. 

• Helping to maintain excellent relationships with existing funders via bespoke outreach and thank you letters, project updates as appropriate, and semi-regular communications on GCT materials/events. 

• Proactively researching potential funders and supporting the Senior Development Manager and Senior Leadership Team members on their cultivation. 

• Reviewing fundraising success from Trusts & Foundations and developing annual fundraising plans with the Senior Development Manager. 

• Supporting the Senior Development Manager with Trusts & Foundations income and fundraising pipeline updates to GCT’s Senior Leadership Team and Trustees as required. 

• When grants are successful, lead or support the Senior Development Manager with handover actions to the Programmes team to ensure project budgets, timelines and donor expectations are clear.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is hiring for a Finance Officer to join our accounts receivable/income department. 
 

In this role you’ll be processing supporter donations, working with third party platforms and contributing to the smooth running of the income function. 
 

Salary

The salary for this role is £32,413 and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. 

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate all income received through the bank and cash office.
• Download and process income reports from agencies such as CAF and Charities Trust. 
• Identify donors on Salesforce and create new donor records where necessary. 
• Review cheques received and liaise with Fundraising for any discrepancies. 
• Count and reconcile cash received into the Cash Office. 
• Raise invoices in a timely manner. 
• Update fundraising trackers. 

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the charity sector, or who has an interest to moving to an accounts receivable role in this space. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous experience working in an accounts receivable/income/cash office role. 
• Previous data entry experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Officer to plan and deliver our new Volunteer Strategy. This role involves leading and coordinating our voluntary role holders across different roles and integrating with the wider work of the team.

We want someone who is passionate about volunteers and who will rise to the challenge set by our Chief Officer for all our work to have a clear fingerprint of volunteers demonstrated. The post holder will have latitude to develop a modern, exciting, and vibrant volunteer base and will work across the team to embed new roles which enable us to spread our reach further into the District.
