We are a HealthTech nonprofit providing stigma-free digital and community-based mental health support to Tanzanian youth.

In Tanzania, over 50% of the population is under 25, yet youth face stigma, lack of access, and a severe shortage of mental health services. Only a handful of mental health professionals serve the entire country, and young people in underserved urban and rural areas are left without affordable or accessible support. This mental health gap leads to poor education outcomes, unemployment, and worsening health inequities.

Our flagship initiative, AHADI, is Tanzania’s first integrated hybrid digital and in-person mental health facility. It combines a mobile app (Ahadi App) , SMS helpline (15061), and toll-free IVR hotline (199) with AI-driven tools and community outreach. AHADI provides discreet, affordable, and accessible support, designed with and for young people. We also run stigma-reduction campaigns, and community outreach to normalize conversations around mental health.

Fundraising & Partnerships Volunteer

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

We are looking for a passionate volunteer to support the Tanzania Health and Medical Education Foundation (TAHMEF) in mobilizing resources to scale our flagship initiative, AHADI — Tanzania’s first hybrid digital and in-person mental health facility for youth.

Responsibilities include: -Researching and identifying potential donors, foundations, and corporate partners aligned with youth mental health and digital health. -Drafting fundraising proposals, concept notes, and partnership outreach emails. -Supporting the development of fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies. -Assisting in building and managing a donor/partner pipeline. -Contributing innovative ideas to strengthen sustainability and long-term growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing African HealthTech nonprofit that has already engaged over 500,000 youth and resolved more than 10,000 cases through our digital helpline and app.

We are a non-profit organization empowering rural communities in Nepal through organic Arabica coffee farming, beekeeping, and women-led community tourism.

Across Nepali villages, many young people migrate to the Middle East and other countries in search of better income, often working in harsh, risky conditions for very little pay—and sometimes losing their lives. At Sharing Seeds, we encourage local youth and women to rediscover opportunities at home by engaging in sustainable cash crop farming and community-based enterprises.

By promoting modern agricultural practices, we help farmers transform unused land into thriving organic coffee and beekeeping ventures. At the same time, we create fair-wage opportunities for rural women, enabling financial independence and stronger families.

Based in Sarangkot Pandeli village near Pokhara, Nepal’s tourism capital, Sharing Seeds is building a future where communities flourish through sustainable farming, women’s empowerment, and authentic tourism experiences.

This is the role for the interested creative volunteer with great experience in graphic design, who can create an outstanding sticker for our locally produced organic Coffee Cascara (Outer layer of dried arabica coffee) , sourced from our more than 100 small community farmers. We need this sticker to design and print as a label on our paperkfat packets to sell in the market and to travelers who come to our place for a visit.

Waterwatch UK is a grassroots initiative based in Southend with national ambition. We bring communities, regulators, water companies, MPs, and local authorities together to hold decision-makers accountable for water quality. We are transitioning to become a registered charity and are building a strong local base in Southend before scaling nationally.

Role Purpose
We are looking for a volunteer Communications & Marketing Officer to lead and grow Waterwatch UK’s communications. This role is central to raising awareness of our work, engaging the public, and ensuring transparency as we set up our Southend Committee, take over the Southend Water Quality Summits, and expand nationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Waterwatch UK’s communications plan (starting locally, building to national reach).

• Lead on social media: create and schedule posts, engage followers, grow reach.

• Draft and publish news posts and updates on our website.

• Produce a regular newsletter for supporters, volunteers, and partners.

• Lead comms around key milestones:

  • Registration as a charity.

  • Launch of the Southend Community Committee.

• Build and maintain relationships with local press and media outlets.

• Support preparation of press releases, statements, and briefings.

• Ensure consistency of Waterwatch UK’s voice and messaging.

• Develop templates and systems so comms can scale to a national audience.

Commitment

We need Fundraising Volunteers to help in and around the Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough area. The postcode areas we are active in are TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN6, TN7, TN8, TN9, TN10, TN11, TN13, TN14, TN15, TN16, TN17, TN18, TN19, TN20, TN21 and TN22.

We are a movement of people championing the welfare of cats. We lead society in a richer understanding of all cats and care for those that need our help. 

Our Volunteer led branches operate within local communities nationwide and rely on funds donated by generous members of the public to continue to help cats and kittens in need of new homes, supporting owners with neutering, managing trap, neuter and return programmes and educating people about cat welfare. 

Our fundraising volunteers are part of a passionate team that help raise funds to help cats. They help plan and deliver exciting and varied fundraising events, which can be anything from craft fairs, cake sales, sponsored abseils – and anything in between!

This is a telephone-based role that you can do from home. You will need access to a landline or mobile phone We ask you to commit to between 1 and 3 hours per week to facilitate Talk and Support befriending groups which will be at the same day and time each week. Each group runs for an hour.
