Main tasks
We need individuals who can manage a group of volunteers within their region and work with Human Appeal staff members to ensure volunteers’ active involvement in events and campaigns.
Recruit new volunteers and lead current volunteers who will be allocated to your team
Communicate important campaign-related information to your team
Organise 2 Fundraising events or community projects with your team within an assigned budget in the year.
Actively attend and participate in Team Leader meetings and complete any actions allocated to you E.g Recruiting volunteers for online fundraising.
Work with the Human Appeal staff team to deliver campaigns and 2 in-person events for the year.
Organise and attend Monthly Meetings with your Volunteers
Where possible, support with Team Leader recruitment by joining the interviewing panel
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
We will provide you with the tools, training and support you need but here are a few things we are looking for:

Description: Generally, interns assist the Legal Director and Legal Project Managers with all aspects of preparatory work for the AIRE Centre's legal advice services and cases, including:
· Legal research in support of cases.

To be eligible you must:
· Have a completed law degree/GDL or equivalent
· Have a good understanding of the areas of Law in which the AIRE Centre works (EU Free movement, EU Migration, asylum etc)
· Have a good standard of written and spoken English.

SUNSHINE is a new start-up volunteer-led charity on a mission to combat loneliness with joy, connection, and compassion. As we prepare to launch across London and beyond, we’re assembling a passionate founding team to guide this movement from its very foundations.
And we need someone special to help make it all run smoothly — an Honorary Secretary who thrives on clarity, precision, and people-centred systems.
What You’ll Do
As our Honorary Company Secretary, you’ll be a vital pillar of our governance and operations — ensuring that SUNSHINE remains well-organised, legally sound, and beautifully run. Your role includes:

Coordinating Trustee Meetings: Prepare agendas, circulate papers, and keep minutes that reflect both heart and strategic insight.

Ensuring Governance Excellence: Help us stay compliant with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements.

Formalising Our Structure: Support with policies, decision logs, and governance documents that make SUNSHINE transparent, trustworthy, and future-ready.

Championing Organisational Culture: Work alongside the Chair and fellow Trustees to instil the values of care, respect, and community in all our processes.
In short, you’ll help create an experience where everyone — volunteer, Trustee, or beneficiary — feels valued, empowered, and connected.

We welcome anyone with a talent for organisation and a love of people-powered missions. Ideal candidates may have skills in:
- Charity Governance: Set up and maintain robust systems aligned to legal and ethical standards.
- Admin & Coordination: Keep our teams organised and our meetings meaningful.
- Policy & Compliance: Help establish a transparent and trusted foundation.
- Leadership Support: Act as a key liaison between the Chair, Board, and wider volunteers.

- Charity Finance or Accounting: Lead financial operations, budgeting, and compliance.
- Governance & Risk: Ensure accountability and protect our mission from the start.
- Fundraising Oversight: Collaborate with fundraisers to align resources with impact.
Professional accounting qualifications are a plus — but not essential if you have solid financial and strategic experience and a heart committed to transformation.
