The Role:
While our Charity Manager handles the operations, we need a qualified professional to be the clinical heart of our delivery. You will oversee the safety and quality of our mentoring programmes, ensuring our volunteer coaches are delivering effective, asset-based support to our participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and sign off on our 6 and 12-Week Growth Curriculum.
• Provide light technical supervision or peer-support check-ins for our volunteer mentors.

• A certified Life Coach, BACP-registered therapist, or highly experienced Youth Worker.

Make a Difference with Essex Respite & Care Association (ERCA)

At Essex Respite & Care Association (ERCA), we are seeking a Volunteer  to join our charity and help support the important work we do for adults living with dementia, mental health conditions, and other long-term health needs across Essex.

This voluntary role requires approximately 2–3 hours per week and offers the opportunity to use your financial skills to make a real difference.

The Role

• Maintain oversight of the charity's financial records.

Fundraising Events Organiser Volunteer

Our Fundraising Events Team are at the heart of what we do, raising essential funds for the cats.

Our Fundraising Events Organisersshare ideas, tasks and inspiration, planning and delivering local events, with the support of the Fundraising events helpers, such as Open Days (usually 2 per year) at the centre andour annual Christmas Bazaar.

Time Expectation:  This role can be varied and time commitment can be flexible. 

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Berkshire Cat Centre simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

The volunteer will help welcome people, provide Romanian language support and help residents use digital services. They will work alongside Europia staff to make sessions welcoming and accessible.

• Interpret between Romanian-speaking residents and Europia staff during community sessions.

• Help Romanian-speaking residents communicate with Europia staff. 

• Clearly interpret information provided by Europia staff.

• Translate short written information, messages and instructions between Romanian and English.

• Help check that translated information is clear and easy to understand.

• Welcome residents when they arrive at community sessions.

• Help service users use mobile phones, websites, online forms and digital services.

As a Shop Volunteer you’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team of volunteers and staff who support each other and have a lot of fun along the way. We value every volunteer and the unique perspective, skills and energy you bring.

• Serve customers on the till in a warm and friendly way.
• Put sales through the till, packing them and thanking the customer for shopping with us.
• Talk to customers about Gift Aid and other fundraising initiatives.
