We're looking for volunteers to come along between 9am to 1pm, but you don’t need stay for the whole time!

We're thrilled to share that Breast Cancer Now has been selected as a Big Ben Charity Partner for the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026!

We need your help to cheer on one of the biggest and most dedicated teams on the course, who are on track to raise £300,000. 

To celebrate, we're cranking up the party vibes with a carnival theme. Expect fancy dress, vibrant Samba rhythms and, best of all, dancers from the London School of Samba!

What will I be doing?

• Making lots of noise at one of our cheer points, so ours are the loudest and liveliest! 
• Being there for our runners, with high-fives, hugs, and a happy face
• Giving words of encouragement to help our runners power-through to the finish line

Have you confidently used the Beacon CRM system before? Do you thonk you could share your experience of Beacon use and functionality with otthers?

We are looking for someone experienced in the use of Beacon CRM system who can assist our Funrasing & Engagement Team to make the best of this software and can asist with data analysis to help us build our fundraising contacts and achievements.

Do you have experence of fundraising reserach and/or writing grants applications? Want to put those skills to use and make  a difference for those whose lives are affected by cancer?

This role would suit those with experience or interest in research, bid writing, charity fundraising, marketing, creative writing, commissioning, public sector tenders or grant assessment who is looking for a meaningful, regular volunteering commitment. Anyone with expertise or transferable skills in the area of research and/or writing compelling proposals/marketing who is interested in volunteering is encouraged to have a chat with us as we can be flexible.

The Mulberry Centre is looking for opportunities to identify and apply for relevant grants, trust and foundations funding in a competitive market. Grant requests will be on average £500-£10,000 for specific services as well as core Centre costs. This Fundraising Volunteer (the role can be undertaken by one volunteer or split into two parts and shared) will work closely with the Fundraising and Engagement Team to help streamline the research and application process. The first part of the role is to research and check grants and trust funding lists and databases for current opportunities and deadlines for applications to determine which are relevant, where we meet the necessary criteria, and how quickly we need to apply. The second part of the role is to draft and adapt application information to inspire and appeal positively to specific funders. 

We are seeking a Volunteer Editorial Lead to oversee the editorial process, work closely with our investigative journalists, and ensure all content aligns with our mission and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with editorial experience, a passion for social justice, storytelling, or lived experience in the topics we cover.
As Editorial Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping narratives, mentoring volunteer writers, and maintaining a consistent, professional standard across all publications.

•        Edit, proofread, and fact-check content produced by investigative journalists and contributors.
•        Work with the team to develop story ideas and content strategies.
•        Ensure all content reflects the organization’s values, mission, and tone.

• Prepare agendas and papers for Board and sub-committee meetings with the Chair and CEO.
• Take clear, accurate minutes that reflect decisions, context and agreed actions.
• With support from the Head of Operations, maintain key governance records, including trustee details, conflicts of interest and policies.
• Support compliance with the charity’s governing document and Charity Commission requirements.
• Assist with timely statutory filings and good governance practice.
• Act as a trusted point of reference for governance-related queries.

• Contribute to the development and oversight of Sift’s income generation strategy.
• Support exploration of new funding, partnership and collaboration opportunities including the expansion and relaunch of our national in-person and online training programme.

At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.

We are looking for a Volunteer SEO & Content Strategy Manager to help plan and manage the CIC’s content and search strategy.

You will ensure our educational materials, campaigns, and survivor-centred resources are easy to find, well-structured, and accessible online. This role involves working with the Digital Marketing Director and Digital Marketing team to organise content into a long-term strategy that supports awareness, education, and engagement.

The role focuses on SEO, content systems, and structured knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an SEO and content strategy aligned with CIC’s mission and campaigns
• Conduct keyword research and topic analysis related to CSA awareness, survivor support, and education
• Plan structured content systems such as pillar pages, topic clusters, and learning pathways
• Work with copywriters, designers, and campaign leads to prioritise content
• Optimise website pages, blogs, and campaign content for search visibility and accessibility
• Track content performance using search and engagement data
• Identify content gaps and opportunities for educational resources
• Ensure all content follows trauma-informed and safeguarding standards

Stepping Stones Learning and Leisure is a small, friendly charity based in Southwark, providing inclusive activities for adults with learning disabilities. We believe everyone should have the chance to express themselves, connect with others, and take part in activities that bring joy, confidence, and new skills.

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Cook and Eat Volunteer to support our weekly Thursday sessions (10.30-13.30), held at St Faith’s Centre, Red Post Hill, SE24 9JQ (close to North Dulwich and Herne Hill stations).

About The Role

This role is ideal for someone who loves to get stuck in. You’ll support our tutor in delivering inclusive and fun cooking sessions for a small group of adults with learning disabilities. Volunteer with Older People - Elders Programme

Katherine Low Settlement is a community charity in Battersea that has been supporting local people since 1924. Our Elders Programme brings older people together every week through social activities, shared meals and gentle exercise. For many of our members, these sessions are the highlight of their week. The volunteers who show up and make them feel welcome are the reason they keep coming back.

We're looking for warm, reliable people to join us across a range of roles. You don't need experience or qualifications, just patience, a friendly face and a genuine enjoyment of spending time with older adults.

Lunch Club Volunteer - Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, 11:00am to 2:00pm
Welcome members, chat with them on the minibus journey to and from KLS, help serve food and support with tidying up. You'll also sit down to eat lunch with members, which is often the highlight of the day.

Minibus Support Volunteer - Tuesdays, 9:00 to 10:45am
Travel with members on the minibus to and from KLS, making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable and looked after on the journey in.

Chair Based Exercise Assistant - Mondays, 1:30 to 4:00pm
Support older people to stay active and connected through gentle weekly exercise. You'll help set up, welcome members, offer encouragement during the session and provide a bit of extra one-to-one support where needed.

Digital Champion (Tech Beginners) - Thursdays, 11:00am to 12:30pm
Help older people take their first steps with technology. This structured weekly class covers the basics, including smartphones, sending messages and getting online safely. You'll support the group, answer questions and keep things relaxed and encouraging.

Digital Champion (Tech Together) - Tuesdays, 1:30 to 3:30pm
Support older people in a friendly weekly drop-in where members get help with their own devices or use our tablets and Chromebooks. You'll listen to what each person needs, answer questions and help them build confidence at their own pace.

Digital Champion (Tech Your Time) - Thursdays, 1:30 to 3:00pm
Help older people develop their digital skills further in a structured intermediate session. You'll support members as they build on the basics, practise everyday tasks and grow in confidence and independence online.

What we're looking for

- Friendly, patient people who enjoy spending time with older adults
- No experience needed, just a positive attitude and willingness to show up
- A commitment of one session per week for at least six months

Each club blends focused homework support with fun, creative activities that help build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.
