We are looking to recruit an Activities Organiser for the Brighton and Worthing Group. As our local group Activities Organiser you’ll play a crucial role in developing and planning activities and events with your local group. You’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating an annual calendar of events and making sure they’re run safely and effectively to make the most impact. You’ll take a lead role at events on the day and inspire your fellow volunteers to get involved.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication, administration and negotiation skills. 

Time commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by MS.

Overview

Youth Advantage UK is seeking 1–2 passionate and experienced leaders to step into the role of Leadership Coach. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of leadership within our organization by mentoring, coaching, and equipping supervisors and emerging leaders with the tools and confidence to lead effectively.

As an Internal Leadership Coach, you will work closely with HR and C-Level leadership to ensure that leadership development initiatives align with the strategic and operational needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities

• One-to-One Coaching: Provide tailored coaching sessions to supervisors and team leads to support their leadership journey.

• Mentorship: Act as a sounding board and mentor for leaders navigating challenges or transitions.

• Knowledge Sharing: Promote and distribute relevant leadership articles, videos, and tools to inspire continuous learning.
• Feedback & Evaluation: Gather feedback from participants and contribute to the ongoing improvement of leadership development initiatives.

• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a supportive and empowering approach.

• Confidence in facilitating training and leading group discussions.
• High level of IT proficiency

Over past decades, enormous advances have been made in our understanding of MS. Research has got us to a critical point, and we can see a future where nobody needs to worry about their MS getting worse. Our Stop MS Appeal needs to raise £100 million to find treatments for everyone with MS.

Our Stop MS Champions help us reach more people and inspire them to get involved in our Stop MS Appeal by encouraging raising funds and awareness by delivering presentations, attending events and identifying new audiences to speak to. They inspire people to engage with and influence fundraisers and groups, enthuse people and make sure our community’s voice is heard.

As our Lead Stop MS Champion, you’ll motivate your team of Stop MS Champions to help reach more people and inspire them to get involved in our Stop MS Appeal.

By using your ability to motivate and support, you will oversee and lead a team of 5-10 Stop MS Champion volunteers, encouraging them to engage the people they know to raise funds and awareness, and provide reliable information and guidance.

You’ll also network to engage with and influence fundraisers and community groups, enthusing people by delivering presentations at events and finding new audiences to speak to. In this role, as well as developing your leadership, networking, influencing, communication, organisation and presentation skills, you’ll have a chance to be part of something amazing – you could help us stop MS.

The difference you will make to cats and people

Our social media volunteers use their passion and knowledge of social media to promote the activities of local volunteer teams though various channels. They directly help cats by raising awareness of Cats Protection. A higher profile can help us raise the funds we need for our work, ensure people know they can adopt a cat from us, help promote neutering and help as many people as possible learn more about feline welfare.

• Develop and execute a fit for purpose fundraising plan
• Develop and execute ESAH’s priorities/strategies to raise awareness and drive change, including ensuring we have a ‘harmonized’ voice as an organization
• Foster and strengthen relationships with likeminded individuals/organizations to drive awareness and change
• Represent ESAH publicly, advocating for gender equality and raising ESAH’s profile.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial sustainability.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented volunteer to help us review participant feedback and create a short internal impact summary following our July 2-day nonprofit workshop for Black and Brown changemakers. This is a short and flexible remote role, perfect for someone who loves meaningful data, stories, and mission-driven work.

Tasks Include:

• Reviewing responses from participant feedback forms (Google Form or PDF)
• Thematically organizing written responses (e.g., what people learned, what could be improved)
• Pulling out quotes for testimonials
• Light data entry and analysis (how many attended, how many would recommend, etc.)
• Helping create a one-page written summary or slide deck (optional but ideal)

You’d Be Great If You…

• Love organizing ideas and turning  feedback into impactful storytelling 
• Are reliable, responsive, and excited about impact-led work
• Have basic familiarity with Google Docs, Google Forms, or spreadsheets
