As we scale our impact through our Strategic Growth and Impact Plan, we are seeking an experienced and driven leader to help us build meaningful corporate partnerships that support our mission.

The Role

As our Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead the development of high-value corporate relationships that provide financial, technical, and in-kind support to our programmes.

This role goes beyond fundraising we are looking for someone who can unlock skills-sharing, pro bono expertise, technical resourcing, and capacity-building support from corporate partners to strengthen our National Management Teams and operations.

You will play a key role in shaping how the private sector supports sustainable development and humanitarian impact within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Develop and implement a global corporate partnerships strategy aligned with our mission and values
  • Identify and prioritise corporate partners with shared values and complementary expertise
  • Design compelling partnership propositions and shared-value opportunities

Technical Resourcing & Capacity Building

  • Develop partnership models that include skills transfer and capacity support
  • Secure pro bono support, secondments, advisory services, and technology/knowledge transfer
  • Work with country teams to identify operational and technical needs

Relationship Management

  • Serve as lead relationship manager for key corporate partners
  • Ensure strong stewardship through regular communication and reporting
  • Deliver high-quality partner engagement and recognition

Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Work closely with the Global Executive Leadership Team and National Management Teams
  • Collaborate with fundraising and communications teams on partnership opportunities
  • Champion a culture of partnership working across the organisation

Governance & Reporting

  • Establish KPIs to track partnership performance and impact
  • Report regularly to leadership and trustees
  • Ensure ethical, compliant, and values-aligned partnerships

Representation & Advocacy

  • Represent the organisation at meetings, forums, and corporate engagements
  • Advocate for private sector engagement in sustainable development

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • 10+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or strategic relationship management
  • Senior-level experience developing high-value partnerships
  • Strong track record negotiating complex partnership agreements
  • Experience working with multinational corporates or foundations
  • Understanding of skills-based volunteering or pro bono partnerships is highly desirable
