Volunteer Opportunity: Finance Manager

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and confident managing finances? We’re looking for a Volunteer Finance Manager to oversee our financial processes and help ensure the sustainability and accountability of our organisation.

Role Overview:
As a Finance Manager, you will take a lead role in managing and monitoring our finances, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to maintain financial health and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial management and record-keeping

  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

  • Track income and expenditure, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Support funding applications with financial information where required

  • Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed

  • Provide regular updates and financial insights to the team

  • Assist with financial planning and strategy

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (preferred)

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets or financial software

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
