SNAAP are looking for Volunteers for their Youth Group, every other Tuesday 4:30-7:30pm.
You will be supporting 11-24 yr olds, at this session, all the youth have additional needs, but they do not need high level of support, they will have board games, lego, computer games, craft, cooking and lots more, to enjoy, and volunteers are there with the staff team to support where needed.

What is knus?
knus is the UK’s first free, confidential, mental health peer support and coaching online chat service. knus offers mental health educational plans, relaxation experiences and live workshops.
What does knus mean? 'hug' in Danish.
Here’s some further information on what’s needed:
Are you over 18 and living in the UK?
You must be over the 18 years of age and live permanently in the UK.
Do you have a laptop?
A laptop and a quiet space to volunteer is essential.
How much time can you give?
A minimum of 2+ hours per week is required. We are flexible and like to work around you.
Do you like to learn?
We provide training for all volunteers that join us. Our peer support training is accredited. 20-25 hours of volunteering training is required and is self led online.

Role: Youth Mentor / Support Worker

Role Overview
As a Youth Mentor, you will provide emotional, practical and wellbeing support to young people who need a positive role model. You will help build resilience, confidence, and healthy life-skills.
Key Responsibilities

At our Mental Health Helpline, we offer a crucial lifeline, providing compassionate listening and crisis de-escalation for numerous NHS Trusts. We're on the lookout for empathetic and dedicated individuals to join us in delivering this transformative support.
About the role
Our Volunteers are incredibly important in supporting the work we do, and we value individuals who dedicate their time to find the perfect fit within our organisation.
We are currently excited to welcome volunteers to the Helpline, to support with our emotional support provision.
The service operates 24/7 but we welcome applications to fit around your availability and capacity.
You will be part of a team that provides emotional support and signposting to our callers and will be supported by the Telephone Support Workers and Shift Supervisors at all times.
