It is a teaching, coordination and enablement role critical to turning production into real-world change.
Purpose of the the role:
Train and guide ambassadors on how to use CIC content across platforms. Deliver weekly “what to post” packs with clear instructions. Ensure content is used safely, ethically and effectively. Collect feedback from ambassadors and report trends back to creators and leadership. Monitor adoption and alignment with campaign and CIC priorities. You are the bridge between content and community action.
About the role:
The Volunteer Ambassador Content Enablement Officer plays a crucial role in empowering our community to share, speak and act with clarity and purpose. These spaces are powerful — and without strong moderation, they can also become unsafe. The Community Moderation & Safety Lead exists to ensure that our online and digital communities remain safe, boundaried, respectful, and trauma-informed, without becoming policed, silencing, or extractive.
This is not a passive moderation role. It is a systems and safety leadership role.

Our trustees are required to attend 8 evening meetings per year. 8 of those are Board meetings and usually in Dartford, the other 8 will be for an agreed board sub-committee.
In addition, each trustee should use any specific skills, knowledge or experience they have to help the Trustee Board reach sound decisions. These may involve scrutinising board and committee papers, contributing to discussions, focusing on key issues, providing advice and guidance on new initiatives and other issues in which the Trustee has special expertise.

What's involved?

Being part of a varied and enthusiastic team, working closely with the Visitor Experience team and volunteers to ensure that service across all visitor facing components is consistent.
Assist staff with route planning and visitor information, with the possibility of offsite promotion and engagement with local groups.
Taking part in the possible connection with local walking or cycling groups.
Taking part in regular Walk Leader & Cycle Leader training to develop skills. Regular catch-up sessions with our Active Outdoors Development Volunteer Manager.

As Instructional Designer, you will work closely with the Membership Director, Book Club Coordinator, and Social & Digital Media Education Lead to develop structured learning pathways, modules, and resources for our membership programmes. Your work will ensure that all learning experiences are engaging, accessible, and aligned with our anti-capitalist, community-driven, and survivor-centred mission. What will you be doing?
The Board requires a broad mix of skill, experience and attributes to achieve the efficient and effective governance of the organisation. Trustees need the knowledge, experience, aptitude and commitment to make a significant contribution to the Board. The hospice’s governing document allows for 6 – 15 trustees at any one time. The role of the Governing Body includes collective oversight of the College’s activities and setting and reviewing
our strategy and mission. The governor role is comparable with the non-executive directors of a public company
but instead of being accountable to shareholders, governors are accountable for public funds. As the College is an exempt charity, all governors are charity trustees.
Being a governor is a hugely rewarding leadership role. Governors can make a real difference and give something
back to the local community.
The College is currently looking for two new governors to join the Board. We are seeking experienced individuals, who
are looking for an opportunity to use and develop their professional skills in a board-level environment.
You don’t need to have prior board experience to apply.
The Board is currently looking for two new governors will have experience of one, or more, of the following areas: FE, education, apprenticeships.
The Board also values the diversity of our students and staff, who come from a variety of ethnic, cultural and
religious backgrounds. The Board is determined to reflect this diversity amongst our Governing Body and
encourages people from a range of backgrounds and experiences to apply.

Co-option can provide an excellent introduction to voluntary governance roles. We are currently looking for co-opted members to join our Search and Governance Commitee, Resources Committee and Audit and Risk Committee.
