No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking Event Doctors to respond and manage emergency calls/incidents at events which may include venues such as stadia, concert halls, motorsports tracks, road races etc. Event doctors shall provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care while undertaking clinical assessment and interventions in the pre-hospital environment. This will mainly involve working in mobile treatment centres or temporary event medical centres.

Successful candidates will be registered medical practitioners with the GMC, without cautions or restrictions, and hold a licence to practice outside of an approved practice setting.

As a health professional volunteer, you would support our First Aid teams with patients who need more complex assessment or treatment, prescription medications or admission to hospital. 

We would warmly welcome you into our clinical team, provide all your training, uniform and equipment and offer you a great chance to work as part of a friendly prehospital care team, with good clinical support from experienced colleagues. 

You would join our group of over 20 Kent doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and paramedics who already give their time to volunteer with St John Ambulance. 

We have clinicians of all specialities in our teams and are happy to provide clinical supervision for those in training grades. 

We understand how tiring your work shifts can be, and that your duty to your NHS patients will always come first, and we can offer you flexibility around volunteering shifts as well as paid travel to, and accommodation at events. 

Please note, this is a Kent County wide advert for health professional volunteers, and once you are onboarded to the organisation you will be managed by one of the local networks and supported by the County Clinical Team. Role Purpose

The Head of Department (Bid Writing) sits between Directors and Managers, turning high-level income-generation goals into a clear, deliverable bid-submission pipeline. Key Responsibilities

What is Trafford Centre Foundation:

Trafford Centre Foundation (TCF) is in the process of being set up and will be a registered charity, supporting charitable causes across the Greater Manchester region. The Treasurer oversees the financial affairs of the charity and ensures that they are conducted legally, transparently, and in line with the charity’s governing document. Working closely with the Chair, Managing Director, Trustees, and any staff or volunteers, the Treasurer helps safeguard the charity’s financial sustainability.

Fish farmers often rely on traditional cage systems that lack real-time monitoring and durability, leading to high mortality rates and inconsistent yields. This inefficiency contributes to food insecurity and environmental degradation, as unmanaged systems can cause water pollution and feed waste. With climate change bringing temperature fluctuations and oxygen depletion, farmers need adaptive technology to protect their livelihoods and freshwater ecosystems.

Constantnople provides a high-tech circular solution by integrating durable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) cages with an AI-powered monitoring system. Our sensors track water quality parameters like dissolved oxygen and temperature in real time, while data analytics optimize feeding schedules to reduce waste and detect early signs of fish stress. By combining resilient physical infrastructure with digital intelligence, we empower farmers to increase productivity, improve survival rates, and promote responsible management of aquatic environments.

Role Description:

• Identify and pursue grants, impact investment, sponsorships, and donor funding opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, government agencies, foundations, corporate partners, and impact investors.
• Prepare compelling proposals, pitch decks, and funding applications.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and social impact metrics.
• Track and report on funding performance, donor engagement, and partnership outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to quantify impact, collect data, and demonstrate program effectiveness to funders.
• Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and fundraising forums.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Development Studies, Social Entrepreneurship, or related field.
• Proven experience in fundraising, grants management, or partnerships in the nonprofit or social enterprise sector.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives about social impact and sustainability.
• Familiarity with impact metrics, monitoring, and evaluation is a plus.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and team player with a passion for social impact.
