About Lambeth Links: Lambeth Links is the LGBTQIA+ community forum for Lambeth. We bring together people who live, work and socialise in the borough to share information, support each other and speak with a stronger voice.

We are seeking to appoint Trustees with expertise in one of the following areas:

About the Trustee for Governance and Board Secretary role:

• Experience in charity governance, company governance or a related field such as legal, company secretarial or compliance.
• Understanding of the duties of charity trustees in England and of the role of the Charity Commission.
• Experience of Board or committee work, paid or voluntary.

About the Trustee for Digital, Data and Website role:

• Experience in digital, IT, data or web development in a paid or voluntary role.
• Understanding of basic data protection and GDPR principles and how they apply in small organisations.
• Experience of using or overseeing websites, digital platforms or online tools.

About the Trustee for Marketing and Communications role:

• Experience in marketing, communications, PR or a related field in a paid or voluntary role.
• Experience of planning or delivering campaigns, content or community outreach.
• Understanding of how to use different channels to reach different audiences.

About the Fundraising and Income Generation Trustee role:

• Experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships or income generation.
• Understanding of at least one area of fundraising such as grants, corporate partnerships, events or individual giving.
• Experience of developing or reviewing funding proposals or business cases.

About the People and Volunteering Trustee role:

• Experience in HR, people management, organisational development or volunteer management.
• Understanding of fair and inclusive people practices in small or medium organisations.

As a Grants and Funding Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our work. You will:

• Identify and apply for funding opportunities through compelling proposals
• Craft engaging campaigns to attract donors and increase awareness
• Develop clear and impactful communication strategies to share our mission and successes with stakeholders, partners, and the public

You'll collaborate closely with the admin team, a small group of volunteers who work behind the scenes to enable our success with our project goals. You'll also liaise with our Project Director to align your work with the trust's aims and objectives.

This role is adaptable to your skills and interests. Whether your expertise lies in campaign writing, digital communications, or event-based fundraising, we’ll work with you to tailor the responsibilities and focus areas to make the most of your time and talents.

Coventry Citizens Advice is recruiting new trustees to join its Board of Directors.

We are one of the largest local Citizens Advice charities in England, helping more than 14,000 people each year with issues including debt, housing, welfare benefits and fuel poverty. For over 80 years we have been a trusted source of free, independent advice for the people of Coventry — and demand for our services has never been higher.

This is a genuine governance role. You will help set our strategic direction, oversee our finances, ensure we meet our legal duties as a charity, and hold the organisation accountable to the communities it serves. We want trustees who engage with the detail and bring their professional judgement to decisions that matter.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

No previous trustee or board experience is required — just sound independent judgement, strong communication skills, and a commitment to public service.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

Communications Team Lead (Volunteer)

We are seeking a creative and experienced Communications Team Lead to play a vital role in raising awareness of the mission of Bounds Green Food Bank and drive donations. They will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers and assisting the team in coming up with creative ways to spread the word of the food bank.
 

About Bounds Green Food Bank: 

Open since June 2020, we serve over 4,600 children and adults in the community. We are committed to improving lives by providing food and essential household items to build a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow. We strive to promote social inclusion by supporting people who find themselves in a crisis situation where they need assistance to feed themselves and their families.

The role: 

• Create and lead on communication campaigns and initiatives to raise funds, recruit volunteers and promote our impact

• Manage a fantastic Communications Team of remote volunteers with specific roles (social media, website management, business partnership, graphics and community liaison), providing guidance and managing workload

• Work closely with the Fundraising Lead to create effective fundraising campaigns through newsletters, social media, flyers, events and our website.

• Liaise with the other team leads via a group chat and occasional team meetings, staying up to date with changes across the charity and providing input from the Comms Team

Person specification: 

• Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related fields preferred.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and inspire a team of volunteers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Description

You'll be raising awareness, & improving understanding of sight loss through delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions in your local community. Through these engaging sessions, you'll inspire participants to make small changes to their behaviour that make a massive difference in the day-to-day lives of people with sight loss. As a Community Change Champion, this will involve:

• Talking directly with community leaders, businesses, & local groups about ways they can get involved & inviting them to join an Awareness to Action session.
• Delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions either in person or online, using our resources. You may do this on your own or with a team of other local volunteers, both sighted and with sight loss.
• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

Voluntary Sales Administrator. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain foundational
experience and an understanding of the sales lifecycle in a professional environment.
The administrator will provide essential support to the Sales Team, ensuring smooth operation
of all outreach campaigns and accurate performance reporting. This is a learning role focused
on developing business-critical administrative, research, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas
The Administrator will support the sales function by focusing on administrative efficiency and
target identification:
● Email Creation and Dissemination:
○ Drafting, preparing, and proofreading sales outreach emails and follow-up templates
(using tools like Mailchimp).
○ Assisting with the dissemination of campaigns to target audiences under the guidance
of the Sales Director.
● Target Audience Research:
○ Researching and identifying suitable target audiences, groups, and individuals for our
core service offerings (e.g., ePDP, iPDP, Workshops).
○ Collecting and verifying contact data (Email, Name, Phone) for the sales pipeline and
CRM systems.
● Sales Reporting and Metrics:
○ Assisting with the collection of sales data, including open rates, conversion tracking,
and campaign performance metrics.
○ Preparing basic sales reports to highlight outreach efficiency and campaign success.
● Administrative Support:
○ Managing and updating the sales contacts database and CRM (Customer Relationship
Management) system.
○ Organizing and maintaining sales documents and collateral.
Requirements & Skills
● Essential: A strong interest in pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or business
administration.

● Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft
Excel/Google Sheets, and clear written communication.
● Equipment: Access to a personal laptop or PC with reliable internet connection.
