We are Buttons & Bubbles C.I.C. We aim to increase inclusion and representation for disabled families across society. We have several different services including bespoke characters, workshops, free resources, events, sensory trails and more. 

As Buttons & Bubbles continues to grow, we are looking for people who can grow our Linkedin network and also general leads into development and business opportunities

• Must be willing to undertake our training programme, which will be completed virtually at a time that suits you.

• Have a positive attitude toward disability and illness. We’re always happy to answer questions about this.

CIMSPA is the professional development body for the UK’s sport and physical activity sector. We are looking for motivated and ambitious young people to join the CIMSPA Youth Panel. You might be studying, volunteering, working in a leisure centre or sports setting, coaching, or simply passionate about being active. What matters most is that you care about the future of the sector and want to make a difference.

As a Youth Panel Member, you will act as a champion for young adults, helping to ensure that the views, experiences and perspectives of young people influence CIMSPA’s strategy, decisions and priorities. You will work with CIMSPA’s executive team and support the Board of Trustees by sharing insight, offering constructive challenge and helping drive positive change.

You will bring your own lived experience, challenge the status quo where needed, and help CIMSPA find new and better ways to engage with young people. You will be expected to carry out your role in line with CIMSPA’s values and behaviours, contributing positively to a high-performing and respectful Youth Panel.

Role requirements

To apply, you must:

• Be aged between 16 and 25 at the point of appointment.
• Commit to attending up to five Youth Panel meetings per year.
• Be willing to attend Board of Trustees meetings on a rotational basis.
• Complete any preparation required ahead of meetings.
• Act in line with CIMSPA’s values, behaviours, safeguarding and conduct expectations.

What you will gain

You will take part in a 24-month Youth Panel development programme, designed to support your personal and professional growth. This includes access to development opportunities such as job application support, interview skills and wider employability development.

You will be appointed for a 24-month term, with the opportunity to remain on the Youth Panel until you reach the age of 25.

We’re looking for energetic, reliable and upbeat volunteers to join our busy warehouse team at Montrose Avenue on the Slough Trading Estate. If you’re available on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be part of a brilliant, hard-working team that sorts and weighs donated food, keeps the warehouse running smoothly, and has plenty of laughs (and the odd coffee breaks) along the way.

What is Trafford Centre Foundation:

Trafford Centre Foundation (TCF) is in the process of being set up and will be a registered charity, supporting charitable causes across the Greater Manchester region. The Foundation is independent of  Trafford Centre and governed by a board of trustees who decide which good causes will receive support. Our Trustees act in the Foundation’s best interests, applying donations to advance charitable purposes.

The Foundation will fund a wide range of charitable purposes (subject to the law of England and Wales). Role Purpose:

Chair of Trustees is a high-profile role responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of  Trafford Centre Foundation ensuring effective governance and strong oversight to maximise the Foundation’s impact for its beneficiaries.

You will oversee and provide leadership to the Board of Trustees, ensuring it operates effectively, sets clear strategic priorities, and governs in line with the Foundation’s charitable objectives, legal obligations, and values with integrity and transparency. Trustee responsibilities are wide and varied and include:

• Ensuring the charity is compliant with relevant legislation and is adequately resourced
• Contributing actively by giving strategic direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals and evaluating performance

• Ensuring the financial stability of the charity and proper investment of the charity’s funds
• Using any specific knowledge or experience you have to help the Board of Trustees reach sound decisions

Trustees are required to:

• Attend up to four board meetings a year
• Attend our annual Away Day and represent the charity at external events

About Lucas Helps Dogs
Lucas Helps Dogs is a volunteer run  charity working in Sri Lanka to reduce the suffering of street and community dogs and cats. We run spay and neuter clinics, provide rabies vaccinations, emergency treatment, and daily meals to street dogs and cats. We also deliver educational programmes in schools to teach kindness to animals and responsible pet care.

We’re currently looking for a Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure vital funding so we can continue and expand our work for animals in need.

About the Role
As our Grant Writer, you’ll help identify suitable grant opportunities and prepare well-researched funding applications to support our animal welfare projects. You’ll work closely with our founder to understand the charity’s goals, gather information, and develop strong proposals that demonstrate our impact and vision.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys writing and research, wants to gain experience in fundraising, or is passionate about improving the lives of animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Research potential grants, trusts, and foundations that align with our mission

• Write clear, compelling funding proposals and supporting documents

We are looking for friendly drivers to join us in Metheringham!  

You will meet some amazing people, whilst making a positive impact to their lives by driving to places they enjoy and appointments that are important.  
 
We are looking for drivers who will be happy to drive the vehicles owned by the people we support.  

  
Activities will include:  

• Driving the people we support between their homes and services in a safe manner, in accordance with UK law. 
• Driving around the Metheringham area, which will be the start and end point of the majority of journeys 
• Assisting people we support in and out of vehicles and locations – with assistance from trained Dimensions staff. 
• Driving in a manner that is sensitive of physical and emotional requirements of the people we support. 
• Driving vehicles owned by the people we support

We are looking for drivers who:  

• Are aged 21 or over, with at least 2 years driving experience 
• Hold a full, clean and current UK Driving License (or equivalent) 
• Have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions in relation to journeys 
• Are friendly with the people we support and our support staff 
• Are willing to commit to volunteer regularly (times and days can be discussed)  

A DBS check and two character references will be required for this role.

Through volunteering as a Community Volunteer, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time.

Once we have completed your selection and screening for this role, we will provide you with an induction, as well as invite you to any necessary training sessions. We will also provide you with a supportive environment while you are volunteering with us. Information about our volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions. We are recruiting in South Lincolnshire covering Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, Boston and surrounding areas
