We provide a platform for survivors and whistleblowers to share their lived experiences, highlight systemic frustrations and offer solutions rooted in culturally trauma-informed care.
Our membership offers young people and survivors a path to heal, learn digital skills and interactively participate in our Alchemic 369 Book Club, where members engage in weekly interactive discussions, debates and critical analysis of African, Caribbean and world history, Ifa, classics and political thought. Members will sharpen their reading, reasoning and imagination skills, with opportunities to discuss works directly with authors ,highly subsidised plant-based transformative retreats and join a community designed to empower and educate.

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and creative Volunteer AI Video Producer to transform powerful story scripts into emotionally engaging, inspirational, and motivational AI-generated video content. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us bring real-life stories and important social issues to life through compelling visual storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about using cutting-edge AI video technology to create meaningful content that educates, inspires, empowers, and emotionally connects with audiences. The Volunteer AI Video Producer will help produce approximately 30-minute AI-generated videos and shorter story-based content that align with our mission and message.
About the role:
The Volunteer AI Video Producer will be responsible for converting written story scripts into high-quality AI-generated video productions.
Working closely with our content and storytelling team, you will:
- Produce compelling AI-generated video stories from completed scripts.
- Select appropriate AI video platforms and tools to create the highest quality visual content.
- Develop visual concepts, scenes, transitions, and storytelling sequences that effectively communicate the emotions and messages within each script.
- Use AI-generated characters, cinematic scenes, UGC (User Generated Content) style videos, animations, stock footage, and creative visual assets where appropriate.
- Source and integrate suitable music, sound effects, voiceovers, and visual themes that enhance emotional impact.
- Create content that evokes inspiration, motivation, empathy, hope, and reflection.
- Think creatively and strategically when visual assets are limited, finding innovative ways to communicate sensitive stories through AI-generated content.
- Ensure all videos maintain a professional, engaging, and consistent style aligned with our brand and mission.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI video technologies, platforms, and industry best practices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who understands both the technical and emotional aspects of video production.
They will be:
- Passionate about storytelling and creating content that makes a positive impact.
- Highly creative and able to think outside the box when developing visual concepts.
- Comfortable working with sensitive and emotionally driven subject matter.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Able to interpret scripts and translate them into compelling visual narratives.

Experience
- Previous experience creating AI-generated video content.
- Experience using AI video generation platforms and creative production tools.
- Demonstrable portfolio of AI-generated videos, short films, social media content, documentaries, or storytelling projects.
- Experience producing long-form content (15–30 minutes+) is desirable.
- Experience creating UGC-style videos using AI tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with social impact, educational, motivational, mental health, community, or documentary-style content is an advantage.
- Understanding of storytelling structures and audience engagement techniques.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of AI video creation platforms and workflows.
- Strong video editing and post-production skills.
- Ability to match visuals, music, pacing, and emotional tone to written narratives.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication abilities.

VSO – Uzbekistan Education Project
International Volunteering Opportunity: English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher (Aug 2026 – June 2027)
About VSO:
VSO is a global development organisation that uses the power of volunteering to tackle poverty and inequality. Rather than providing aid, VSO works in partnership with governments and local institutions to strengthen skills and systems so that sustainable change continues long after a project ends. Volunteers are placed at the centre of community-led development to empower the most marginalised people.
Project Summary
The Government of Uzbekistan is prioritising improved English language learning across the education system as part of national development reforms. In partnership with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, VSO will place experienced and passionate volunteer teachers in public secondary schools to strengthen English language teaching and learning outcomes.

Role Summary – EFL Teacher (English Language-Teacher)
Location: Public secondary schools in Uzbekistan Duration: 10–11 months (August 2026 – June 2027)
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering interactive English classes to students aged 11–16
• Mentoring and coaching local teachers
• Leading extracurricular language activities and English clubs
• Integrating technology and modern teaching methodologies in the classroom
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate in Education / TESOL / Linguistics or related fields
• Final-year undergraduate or master’s student (who completes the course by July 2026)
• Fluent in English language (minimum C1 level)
• CELTA / TEFL / TESOL / DELTA preferred
Allowance, Costs & Support
There are no programme fees for volunteers. Fully funded project, all cost covered by VSO, including:
• Monthly living allowance equivalent to a local teacher’s salary
• Private accommodation near the workplace
• Return international flights, Visa, vaccinations & DBS -onboarding costs
• Comprehensive medical insurance and 24/7 mental health support
• Access to VSO’s global learning platform and continuous professional development
• In-country support from VSO for the full duration of the placement
VSO has zero tolerance of abuse and exploitation of vulnerable people. We will expect all our employees/ volunteers to commit to protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults from harm and abide by our safeguarding policy.
