Role Summary

As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping create and implementing strategies to fundraise from both existing and new sources (individuals, mosques, grants etc.) with the aim of securing the long-term financial stability of Roots Academy.

Key tasks

Fundraising Planning:

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve income goals.
• Identify potential new funding sources and opportunities for income generation.

Campaign Management:

• Plan and oversee fundraising campaigns and events, including direct appeals, online campaigns, and fundraising events at mosques.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling fundraising material.

Proposal Development:

• Research trusts, foundations and corporations for grant opportunities.
• Work with the team to develop proposals, supporting with grant writing when needed.

Budget Oversight:

• Work closely with the finance team to monitor fundraising budgets, expenditure, and financial projections.

Donor Relations:

• Support with Donor Communications in activities related to donor relationship management and stewardship.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in organising fundraising campaigns and events, including digital fundraising strategies
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques, including donor cultivation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organisation’s mission and impact to diverse audiences
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective fundraising plans
• Strong understanding of Islam and the Muslim Community

Help shape the visual identity of a national movement for men’s wellbeing

MINDSET is building a bold new movement for men’s mental wellbeing and personal growth in the UK — rooted in action, challenge, brotherhood, and real‑world transformation. To bring this mission to life, we urgently need a talented Graphic Designer who can help us create powerful, professional visuals that will put MINDSET firmly on the map.

This is a role for someone who wants their creativity to matter — someone who wants to design work that directly supports men across the UK.

Overview of the Role:

The Head of IT & Systems will lead the technological vision, strategy, and execution

for the organization. This role requires a strong focus on developing robust IT

systems, overseeing digital transformation, ensuring data security, and maintaining

operational efficiency to support the organization's objectives. Management and

people leadership are integral to this role, ensuring effective team collaboration and

development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with

• System Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of
• IT systems, ensuring seamless operation and security.
• Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to modernize technology

• against cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with data protection
• regulations.
• Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external IT service providers,
• ensuring value and quality.

• Budget Management: Plan and manage the IT budget effectively to

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in IT leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
• Exceptional management, people leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Commitment: This role requires a flexible commitment of approximately 5 to 10

hours per week, which can be adjusted to fit around other responsibilities

Help4Homeless is a youth-led charity based in Peterborough, tackling homelessness through community action, advocacy, and outreach. We're looking for a creative and passionate Social Media & Content Volunteer to help us grow our online presence and tell our story to the world.

This is a fully remote, flexible role - perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media and wants to use those skills for something that genuinely matters.

What you'll be doing:

• Creating and scheduling engaging content across our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.)
• Helping develop a consistent brand voice and visual identity online
• Suggesting and implementing ideas to grow our following and engagement
• Keeping our audience updated on news, events, and impact stories
• Collaborating with our team via WhatsApp and email - all remote and relaxed

What we're looking for:

• Someone with a genuine passion for social media and content creation
• Good eye for design (Canva experience is a bonus)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Care about homelessness and want to make a difference
• Any experience in charity, marketing or communications is a plus but not essential

We are currently recruiting Trustees to help us take the charity forward into the future.

Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline is a registered charity led by a Board of Trustees.

The Trustees (all unpaid volunteers) act individually and collectively, to provide overall stewardship of the charity, in accordance with our governing document and relevant legislation. In essence we look after the staff, volunteers and the organisation, so they can support the community.

You don’t need specific qualifications or experience to be a trustee and we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experience.

Prospective candidates will need to:

• Have empathy with the work of the Helpline

• Be able to devote the necessary time and effort

• Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

• Have good judgement

• Be able to work as a team

• Have the ability, commitment and drive to take the organisation forward

1. Chair: Our Chair will be stepping down soon after 15 years and we are looking for someone to learn the ropes beside her before taking on the role.
