HELP US LAUNCH MINDSET — AND CHANGE MEN & BOYS’ LIVES IN LONDON
We’re MINDSET Charity, a bold new start‑up charity in London on a mission to equip and empower men and boys with the tools they need for better mental health.
We’re building something powerful — a stigma‑free space where men and boys can learn real, non‑clinical and non‑therapeutic practical skills that strengthen resilience, boost wellbeing and create lasting change. Through motivational interviewing, solution‑focused approaches, self‑improvement practices, life coaching, mentoring and more, we will help men and boys build better habits, better mindsets and a better quality of life.
And right now, we’re getting set up and ready to launch — and we need Volunteering Team Members to help us build the beating heart of MINDSET.
YOUR IMPACT WILL BE HUGE
You’ll be joining at the very beginning — helping shape the foundations of an exciting new charity in London. You will lead on creating, setting up and implementing our entire volunteering programme from scratch.
Your work will directly influence how quickly we can launch, how strong our team becomes, and how supported our volunteers feel throughout their journey with us. You will be designing the culture, the systems, the processes and the experience that every volunteer will go through — from recruitment to onboarding, engagement, motivation, retention and beyond.
This is your chance to build something meaningful at the very start — shaping a charity that will genuinely change lives across our capital.
WE’RE RECRUITING FOR 4 KEY VOLUNTEERING TEAM ROLES

The architect of our volunteering programme. You’ll design the full structure, systems, policies and processes that shape how volunteers join, engage and thrive at MINDSET.
2. Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator / Manager
The first friendly face volunteers meet. You’ll lead on recruitment campaigns, role descriptions, interviews, welcome packs, inductions and making sure volunteers feel confident from day one.
3. Volunteer Engagement & Retention Officer / Coordinator
The culture‑builder and motivator. You’ll create a positive, inclusive team culture, design recognition and appreciation, support wellbeing, and ensure volunteers feel valued and connected.
4. Volunteer Experience & Journey Designer / Officer
The storyteller and experience shaper. You’ll map out the complete volunteer journey — from recruitment to exit and beyond — ensuring every volunteer has a meaningful, enjoyable and impactful experience.
