ABOUT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOUNDATION

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Football Coaches to support the delivery of fun, inclusive, and engaging football sessions for children and young people aged 7–18.

Volunteer Role: Community Group Volunteer

Location: Across Wales

Frequency: A few hours once a month

Reporting to: Adoption Community Manager

Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS

Community groups are facilitated face to face or virtual meetings/events run by community group coordinators who are volunteers. The groups are run to offer local networking, support, information, advice, guidance and a sense of community for adoption UK members.

The role of a community group coordinator is to plan, organise, facilitate and network meeting and events both face to face and virtually for local adoption UK members. 

The groups are open to prospective adopters/ adopters awaiting a match and adopters with children. Meet ups are often held monthly although the frequency is dependent on the availability of the community group coordinator. 

What you will be doing   

·Plan dates for the community group meetings.

·Inform the Community officer and manager so the admin and booking link can be created for the group.

·Attend the group meetings, welcome the attendees, remind everyone at the start of the meeting about safeguarding and confidentiality, chair the meeting and provide a listening ear and potential signposting to the attendees.

·Ensure Adoption UK’s safeguarding policies and procedures are followed.

·After the meeting, send an attendance list to staff at Adoption UK.

Safeguarding role requirements: All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS

Volunteer Delivery Driver needed to collect and deliver essential baby items to mums across the Greenwich Borough.
Flexible hours, training provided, and expenses reimbursed.

Purpose of Role 

Many of the mums we support cannot collect essential items themselves due to financial hardship, mobility issues, mental health challenges, or caring responsibilities. Volunteer Delivery Drivers help ensure essential donated items reach mums supported by MumsAid safely, respectfully, and with dignity. This role involves collecting goods from Mammakind Charity and delivering them directly to families, many of whom are experiencing hardship, isolation, or vulnerability. Due to the nature of this role, you will be in direct contact with vulnerable mums and their families, so a strong commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries is essential. 

What will you be doing? 

• Liaise with MumsAid team about delivery schedules 

• Collect and safely transport donated items from Mammakind Charity 

• Deliver items sensitively to families 

• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries 

• Follow safeguarding guidance at all times 

• Report safeguarding or welfare concerns immediately to the MumsAid team 

• Promote and support equality, diversity and inclusion 

• Attend induction and role-specific training and take part in feedback sessions

Children With Voices is a grassroots children's charity with over 25 years of experience supporting children and families across London. Based at Fawcett Estate Community Hall in Clapton, Hackney, we run a Community Food Hub, alternative education, SEN support, and community programmes including Jumping Beans. ABOUT THIS ROLE

As we grow, we need an experienced Operations Manager to help us run well behind the scenes — so everything on the frontline can keep delivering. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Oversight

Leadership & Governance
