Zurfte Empowercare Foundation (ZEF) is looking for a passionate and strategic Content and Communications Manager to lead our digital presence, brand messaging, and story creation.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in raising awareness for our cause, engaging our global community, and driving impact through compelling content across multiple platforms. 

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and execute engaging visual, written, and multimedia content across social media channels, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
• Brand & Messaging: Oversee organizational communications to ensure a consistent, impactful, and authentic brand voice.
• Community Engagement: Interact with our audience, volunteers, and stakeholders to foster community support and participation.
• Campaign Management: Manage communication workflows for key organisational initiatives, events, and announcements.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor digital metrics and engagement to continually refine content strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, copywriting, or communications strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a narrative-driven approach.
• Familiarity with design, scheduling, and digital management tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, email tools).
• Passion for community empowerment, social impact, and non-profit initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate virtually.

Commitment Hours:
5–10 hours / week (flexible)
Location: Remote
