Job description

At our advice centres, advisers support families facing various challenges, helping them navigate the complex SEN system for their children and young people.

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Demonstrable experience in applying for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and/or substantial experience supporting families through the appeals and tribunal process.
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and provide informed, accurate advice from the outset.
  • While full training will be provided on our specific approach and family-support model, applicants are expected to bring a strong working knowledge of SEN processes and legislation.
  • Applicants must be able to commit to attending and supporting the monthly advice centre prior to applying.

COMMITMENT:

  • 2 hours a month (term time only) for the Advice Centre
  • CPD every 5-6 weeks
  • Training program to be undertaken within 30 days of joining
