Could you spare a few hours to help an older person access the financial support they're entitled to? 

Many older people are missing out on benefits that could make a real difference to their lives. As a Welfare Benefits Volunteer with Age UK Buckinghamshire, you'll visit older people in their homes, help them complete benefit claim forms, and provide friendly, practical support.

We're looking for people who are: 

• Friendly, patient and a good listener 

• Comfortable talking to older people 

• Organised and reliable 

• Keen to learn and make a difference 

No previous experience is needed. Full training, ongoing support, and expenses are provided.

Time commitment:

• Two initial training sessions and occasional on-line refresher training 

• Flexible volunteering to fit around your availability 

• Most visits take 1-2 hours
