Do you have experience in working with children? We are recruiting for a Childrens Support Volunteer to provide supervision for approximately 1-4 children of varying ages during our monthly co-production meetings at Head Office. Parents and staff will be just next door for support if this is needed at any time. As we will have more than 2 volunteers supporting and only 2 are needed to help during these sessions, you will be taking turns with the other volunteers to support each month.
Your support will have a massive impact and enable clients to feed into the service we provide and make sure their voice is heard!
What you will be doing
- Providing supervision for children during 2-hour meetings once a month at head office
- Keeping the children entertained with provided toys and small activities such as colouring and reading etc..
- Ensuring the safety of the children
- Maintaining strict confidentiality

Learning the keyboard in a group allows for time to focus on the here and now, providing total mindfulness. This enables us to forget about the past or our future worries for a while, providing time without any distractions!
What you will be doing
- To facilitate keyboard lessons for beginners on a 1:1 basis for approximately 30 minutes or in a small group

Are you good at navigating? We are recruiting for a Travel Assistance volunteer to support our service users with travelling to and from sessions, whether it be by train, bus or by foot.
Our Modern Slavery Team have a new 6-week program for Mums and their children to attend starting on the 20th of March, however extra support is needed for service users who need help getting there. Your role will be to meet the service users from their safe house and travel with them to these sessions. As our service users attending these sessions will be living in different locations, we don't have a specific location for the role. Please note that we do reimburse travel expenses!
We are also looking for on-going volunteers once this program has ended.

Face-to-Face Volunteers play a vital part at EOPFS as they work closely with the Service Manager to meet the needs of the service along with supporting Floating Support Workers.
The primary purpose of the Face-to-Face Volunteer would be to support our Ealing Community Discharge Service when we have referrals. The Volunteer will assist the Service Manager in facilitating a discharge from hospital back to their home address. An example of this would be to support the Service User with getting groceries so that food is available for them when they are discharged.
