The Abundant Woman is seeking an organised and driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various initiatives aligned with our mission to support and empower women. This role will coordinate multiple projects, including community programs, events, and health initiatives, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a passion for our mission, and experience in coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

 •  Plan, manage, and execute projects from inception through completion, ensuring they align with organisational goals and timelines.

 •  Coordinate cross-functional teams, resources, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.

 •  Develop project plans, set deadlines, track milestones, and monitor progress.

 •  Manage project budgets, resources, and reporting, ensuring that projects stay within budget and meet objectives.

 •  Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and collecting feedback for improvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications

 •  Proven experience in project management, ideally within a nonprofit or social enterprise setting.

 •  Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and team members.

 •  Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

 •  Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation is a plus.

• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

To create lasting social change, we need to give the public the right information and tools to inspire real, sustainable behaviour changes.

We have a team at RNIB working on this, and we’d love you to join us. To succeed, we need a diverse group of volunteers, who reflect the people we’re trying to reach. You will also work alongside our panel of blind and partially sighted community members.

In this role, you will:
· Share ideas on the best ways to encourage behaviour change.
· Help make sure our messaging connects with the public.
· Co-design and co-produce materials that support behaviour change and maximise the panel’s impact.
· Review content, giving feedback and suggestions.
· Support the production of other resources as needed.

An understanding of sight loss is not required before taking on the role.

How often will I be needed?

Bright Futures UK is looking for passionate and knowledgeable Key Stage 3 Maths tutors to provide educational support and a fun, safe learning environment for young people living with serious illnesses.

What will you be doing? 

Run tutoring sessions online to support a young person for one hour per week

Offer subject area knowledge and expertise related to

Help to combat social isolation through fun and engaging tutoring sessions.

Sooty, the nation’s much-loved bear and a true national treasure, has featured on RNIB’s collection boxes for over 50 years. Thanks to generous public support, these iconic boxes have raised more than £13 million in donations.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our network of Sooty Box collectors. In this flexible role, you’ll help place new boxes and collect and bank donations from Sooty Boxes in local shops, cafés and other businesses in your area. Whether you volunteer on your own, with a friend or as part of a group, you’ll be making a real difference in your community.

You can give as much or as little time as you like and fit the role around your other commitments.

Please note: Volunteers are expected to use their own transport and ideally should have access to a car. Mileage or public transport costs will be reimbursed.

We offer a lifelong befriending service for adults with learning disabilities. Matching the skills and interests of passionate visitors with the specific hobbies and interests of the people we visit. Visitors visit six times a year to create a 1-2-1 connection, offer companionship, encourage people to do the things they enjoy and check-in on their wellbeing. In many cases, the visitor is the only person in someone’s life who isn’t paid to be there for them.

We are looking for a patient and caring volunteer to visit a man in his early 60s who lives in a supported living home in central Coventry. He enjoys going to watch the football, woodwork and crafts, gentle walks, and watching sports and films.

Out and About Role

This is an Out and about visit role which means your visits are likely to be longer, very active and the person you visit will often take an active part in planning your outings and activities in the community. Your volunteer manager will be happy to help you with ideas and suggestions for things you can do. Visits will vary in length but tends to be around a couple of hours, sometimes shorter or longer, depending on what you plan to do.

In this role you will spend quality time with the person you visit and could do a range of different activities like:

• Sitting and having a chat
• Checking in on their well- being
• Going out to a local café/pub for a meal/drink
• Take part on community activities like visiting a place of interest, go shopping etc.
• Enjoying a walk
• A craft activity at home
