We are looking for a new on-line counselor to join our organisation. This will mean running an email service and even a Skype / zoom service if you wish.

We are looking for social workers to join our social worker and safeguarding team to give background help and advice to members who are in need of this.

Someone who can work as part of a team but also on their own when needed, we will take on trainees as we have a supervisor in this team

We are looking for someone who knows the CSA / CMS system to either do some on-line advice sessions or to be on the board readily available to answer CSA questions. This is an on-line role so needs access to facebook and an email address will be provided

Main purpose of job (brief summary): Develop and implement our social media & content strategy in order to increase our online presence and drive stakeholder engagement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a content calendar across all social platforms ensuring a constant supply of relevant content (1 post per week on LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram – initially) 

• Collate content for, prepare and publish the monthly volunteer newsletter through MailChimp 

• Identify and engage with key social influencers to create beneficial relationships and strong networks and grow the ADC brand 

• Perform social listening across all social platforms by monitoring and responding to relevant brand mentions and identifying opportunities for engaging in related topics/discussions 

• Define social media KPIs, measure and optimize social media performance metrics, and develop enhanced reporting 

• Manage and oversee social media content

• Develop and implement E2E fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the fundraising team

​Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential 

• 3+ years of experience in social and content management 

• Experience using MailChimp or similar software 

• Experience in designing, managing and executing successful fundraising campaigns 

• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media platforms 

• Experience of forming relationships with key influencers on social media 

• Good understanding of SEO metrics and social media KPIs 

• Ability to come up with creative content (text, image and video) 

• Available to volunteer at least 7 hours a week 

• Ability to actively take initiative and help set things up in a start-up environment 

• Ability to actively seek and give input in a collaborative team environment 

• A committed team player with good communication skills. 

Desirable 

• Experience of establishing online communities on social media 

• Experience working in an early stage start-up and gone through a scaling phase 

• Passion for the start-up life and comfortable in a role with a little ambiguity

Volunteer Trustee (Secretary Role)

Time Commitment: Around 3–5 hours per month

About the Role:

We’re a charity supporting young people and families through grief, loss, and emotional wellbeing. As our Secretary, you’ll be the organised heartbeat of the board, keeping everything running smoothly, making sure meetings are well-structured, and helping us stay on top of our legal and admin responsibilities.

You don’t need to have charity admin experience — just good organisational skills, a bit of tech confidence, and a passion for helping young people heal and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

 Meetings & Records

• Arrange trustee meetings (usually every 1–2 months) and make sure everyone has the agenda and papers in advance.

• Take clear minutes and track action points so nothing slips through the cracks.

• Keep an organised record of all meetings, decisions, and official documents.

Governance & Compliance

• Help ensure the charity meets its legal requirements with the Charity Commission.

• Maintain up-to-date trustee contact details and declarations of interest.

• Support the Chair and Treasurer with key governance documents like policies, annual returns, and reports.

 Communication & Coordination

• Be the main point of contact for trustee communication — keeping everyone in the loop.

• Help coordinate between trustees, volunteers, and partners.

• Make sure important dates, tasks, and documents are shared in good time.

Key Responsibilities:

 Finance Management

• Keep track of the charity’s income and spending.

• Manage the charity’s bank account and ensure everything matches our records.

• Work with the other trustees to plan an annual budget and keep an eye on how we’re doing.

• Prepare simple finance reports for trustee meetings so everyone understands how funds are being used.

 Reporting & Compliance

• Help prepare our yearly accounts and returns for the Charity Commission.

• Make sure we’re following all the right financial policies and keeping our records clear and transparent.

Advising the Board

• Explain financial info in plain English so everyone feels confident making decisions.

• Support us in planning sustainable income streams (like grants, donations, and fundraising).

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone confident with money management, budgets, or spreadsheets (finance or bookkeeping experience is great but not essential!).
