You'll be required on Saturday 20th September 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-6 hours depending on role and location.

There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.’

We are looking for a number of brilliant people to serve as Trustees, joining our international team to be a pillars of support in our mission to create a better world for humans and animals alike.

MS Walk Belfast is back again this year and we are looking for an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2025 bigger and better than ever.

The 2025 event will have around 200 participants who will be walking through Belfast on either the 1km, 5km or 10km route.

Together these walkers will be hoping to raise over £20,000 for the MS Society to help support the MS Community.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, looking after the course and handing out water, snacks and medals.

Join our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS.

This role is only required on Saturday 7th June 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-6 hours depending on role and location.

There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.

Children Not Numbers are seeking a volunteer Content Creator (Graphic & Video), working remotely, to start ASAP. 

Children Not Numbers (CNN) is a UK-based medico-legal NGO whose mission is to provide immediate support and long-term rehabilitation for children in Gaza - ensuring access to the medical care, education, and advocacy they deserve. From facilitating urgent short-term medical evacuations to providing necessary medical aid and long-term rehabilitation services, our team are dedicated to the wellbeing and empowerment of affected children. Through advocacy and education, the we strive to mobilise resources and drive policy changes for the betterment of children’s lives.

We are looking for a creative, experienced and passionate volunteer Content Creator to help bring our mission to life through impactful visual storytelling. You will work closely with CNN's Communications Manager and other members of the team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills in design and multimedia to make a real difference – supporting awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, educational outreach and fundraising initiatives.

As volunteer Content Creator, your work might include:

• Creating compelling graphics, videos, reels and multimedia content that tell powerful stories and inspire action

• Collaborating with the team to support advocacy, awareness and fundraising campaigns through visual content

• Designing educational materials that communicate complex issues in accessible and empathetic ways

• Developing creative content for social media, newsletters and digital platforms

• Staying aligned with our voice and mission while bringing your own creative ideas to the table

We are looking for someone who is passionate about social justice, human rights and making real-world impact. The role would suit someone with:

• Employed or other substantial experience as a content creator (graphic design, video editing or both) 

• Visual storytelling skills, includng using creative formats to evoke empathy and drive engagement

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, flexible, remote environment

• Familiarity with creation tools, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Premiere or similar software

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with cause-based campaigns or advocacy work

• Knowledge of issues relating to refugees, children’s rights or humanitarian storytelling

• Social media content strategy skills

St John Ambulance Cymru has ambitious plans in place and a new strategy. We are seeking a Hospitaller for the Priory for Wales, taking a pivotal leadership role across the Priory.

The Hospitaller will be our key link as a Priory to the St John Eye Hospital Group (SJEHG) and lead our national fundraising activities in support of the wonderful work of the SJEHG. This will allow the right individual to recruit, inspire and lead the national Eye Hospital Panel taking responsibility across the Priory for our fundraising and liaison with the SJEHG.

St John is an international charity with 900 years of history that in modern times provides first aid, health care and support services in over 40 countries around the world. Together the 44 Priories make up the Order of St John.

The St John Eye Hospital Group (SJEHG) is the only charitable provider of expert eye care in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, treating patients regardless of ethnicity, religion or ability to pay. It has been active for over 140 years and each year treats around 135,000 patients. This helps to address the 80% of blindness in the region which is curable, most of whom would not have access to care without SJEHG.

In Wales

The Priory for Wales is an independent Priory within the Order of St John. We are a working Order of Chivalry of the British Crown with His Majesty the King as its Sovereign Head, which is accredited to the United Nations.

We are Wales’ leading first aid charity. Our new 2025-2030 Strategy has the mission of “Wales as a Community of Lifesavers”. In order to do this we have 4 strategic objectives:

We work closely with NHS Wales and the Welsh Ambulance Service University Trust (WASUT), We provide on-site first aid and medical services at events across Wales from local events in your community to international sporting and cultural events.

In order to do this we have around 2,000 St John People, a mixture of employees and volunteers as well as around 800 Children and Young People.

Our Community Volunteers are vital in enabling us to continue to feed the 2.4 million children we feed every day and to help us reach the next child. They use their talents in their communities to spread the story of Mary’s Meals.

What is the role of a Community Volunteer?

Some of the things you can do as a community volunteer:

• Help us to share our story – arrange and give Mary’s Meals talks to local community organisations, schools, churches and faith groups to raise vital awareness and funds
• Use your networks and contacts to book talks, stalls and events and help us share our story
• Organise fundraising events in your local area such as coffee mornings, quizzes, supermarket bag packs and bucket collections
• Organise film screenings in your community to show Mary’s Meals films
• Volunteer at local fundraising and awareness events such as film screenings, bucket collections or concerts
• Promote Mary’s Meals’ fundraising campaigns and events in your community and across their networks and contacts

Romsey charity looking for volunteer Trustees – do you have some time to spare to support this long-established and well-known local cancer support charity?

Romsey Cancer Support Centre (Jane Scarth House and Jane’s Charity Shop) is looking to appoint two Trustees. The Railway Land Wildlife Trust is seeking passionate and strategic individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

We are a small, friendly charity, run by four volunteer trustees and loads of volunteer fundraisers. We are a dynamic charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) based in Liverpool, dedicated to fundraising initiatives that create meaningful impact both locally and for baby and children’s hospitals in Sana’a, Yemen. Rooted in solidarity values, our work often aligns with principles of Islamic giving, including zakat, but is open to all who wish to give and support. On occasion, we co-fundraise with charities for Palestine.

We are seeking a volunteer treasurer to help us with financial management and reporting. Our turnover is less than £50,000 per year and we are therefore able to produce light touch accounts for the Charity Commission. We would like support with this, and with ensuring we remain financially compliant, as well as with ideas for sustainable fundraising. The trustees meet less than once a month and we anticipate a small time committment for this role. 

We are particularly keen to see applications from people who have a specific interest in health and wellbeing for people living in war affected states, especially Yemen; or who have a connection with Liverpool. As our Volunteer Treasurer, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of the charity. You’ll oversee our finances, ensure transparency, and provide guidance to trustees on managing funds responsibly and in accordance with both UK charity law and, where relevant, principles of Islamic giving.

• Maintain clear and accurate financial records using simple bookkeeping tools (e.g., spreadsheets or accounting software).
• Prepare simplified annual accounts and financial reports suitable for a small CIO.
• Advise the Board of Trustees on financial matters, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Charity Commission regulations and reporting deadlines.
• Provide guidance on zakat-eligible projects and ensure funds are managed in accordance with Islamic charitable principles where applicable.
• Help develop and review financial policies and procedures.
• Attend trustee meetings (typically quarterly) and provide financial updates.
• Brainstorm and share experience of novel and sustainable fundraising ideas.

Essential:

• Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (qualified accountant or qualified by experience).
• Familiarity with charity finance and reporting requirements (especially for small charities/CIOs).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Understanding of Islamic giving, including zakat, and ability to advise appropriately.
• Commitment to the values and objectives of the charity.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of digital accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel).
• Previous trustee or treasurer experience in a charity setting.
• Experience of fundraising.
• Based in or familiar with the Liverpool community.

Soulscape is a Wokingham-based charity working with schools in Berkshire to support young people’s mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. We create safe, reflective spaces where students can explore the big issues in their lives—from anxiety and identity to relationships and resilience.

VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER

Across the UK, our 65 local branches work with disabled people to help them live the lives they choose. Our network of skilled volunteers respond to thousands of requests each year to design and make customised equipment free of charge.

Our volunteer Fundraisers use their organisational and people skills, as well as creativity and a sense of fun, to raise vital funds for their local branch.

What the role involves

This is a varied role that each branch can do a little differently, but it may include the following responsibilities, with potential for additional fundraising opportunities:

· Organising fundraising events big and small

· Identifying and helping to apply for local grants

What you’ll need for this role

· An interest in fundraising – prior experience isn’t a must

· Able to work independently from home

· Willing to attend meetings of your local branch

· A commitment to our aims and values

You’ll also need to complete the induction checklist and a reference check.
