We are looking to recruit a Support Volunteer for the Basingstoke Group. As our local group Support Volunteer you’ll help people affected by MS find information about local and national services. That could be helping someone access local information about the care or benefits they need or giving them a hand with a grant application. See a video about one of our Support Volunteers here.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your listening and communication skills, as well as your knowledge of local services. Most importantly you’ll help people affected by MS to access the help they need. 

Time commitment

As a County Lead of North Yorkshire & Teeside you will be part of the establishment of a County St John Council to oversee and guide volunteer Community Networks aims to create a structured and supportive framework that empowers volunteers to operate more effectively and efficiently. By providing strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight, the council ensures that volunteer efforts align with community needs and priorities while avoiding duplication of services.

St John has embarked on a journey to achieve the goal of ensuring that every community and young person across the country is first aid confident.

We are looking for a leader with a passion for local volunteering and helping communities to inspire and support volunteers on this journey across your county

The post will also interact with relevant Communities of Practice to share learning, advice and best practice

Within this role, there will be focus on the fundraising element, so we would want you to be passionate about supporting, inspiring, and working with networks to develop fundraising plans and activity.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraising & Priory Lead. This role is a job share, where the post holder will focus primarily on the Fundraising aspect. Overview

Youth Advantage UK is seeking 1–2 passionate and experienced leaders to step into the role of Leadership Coach. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of leadership within our organization by mentoring, coaching, and equipping supervisors and emerging leaders with the tools and confidence to lead effectively.

As an Internal Leadership Coach, you will work closely with HR and C-Level leadership to ensure that leadership development initiatives align with the strategic and operational needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities

• One-to-One Coaching: Provide tailored coaching sessions to supervisors and team leads to support their leadership journey.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a supportive and empowering approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in facilitating training and leading group discussions.
• High level of IT proficiency
• A commitment to volunteerism and a passion for developing others.
• Ability to commit to the role for at least 12 months ideally.

We’re the MS Society – a community of people living with MS, scientists, campaigners, listeners, organisers, ambassadors and fundraisers. Our volunteers are a key part of achieving our goals and their support is vital. Join us.

We are looking to recruit a Finance Volunteer for our Buchan Group. As a Finance Volunteer, you would be joining a coordinating team of volunteers to plan and deliver services and activities to support people locally.

You will maintain and approve income and expenditure records and explain financial information clearly to other group members. You would ensure our financial requirements and policies are followed, and that money is spent in a cost effective manner.

Be part of something special and volunteer at MS Walk Cardiff. Join an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2025 bigger and better than ever.

The 2025 event will have around 200 participants who will be walking through Cardiff on either the 1km, 5km or 10km route.

Together these participants will be hoping to raise over £25,000 for the MS Society to help support the MS Community.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, to looking after the route and handing out medals at the finish.

Join our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS.

You'll be required on Saturday 20th September 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-6 hours depending on role and location.

There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.’
