About the Role:
As a Creative Workshop Leader, you will work with us to design a fun and meaningful workshop tailored to your expertise, which you’ll deliver on a Wednesday afternoon. Whether your speciality is henna design, cake or cookie decorating, crochet, glitter art, or another creative discipline, we’d love to hear from you! You’ll have the full support of our team to ensure your workshop runs smoothly and makes a real impact.

Purpose of the Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with others and enjoys being active in the community. As a Volunteer Engagement & Outreach Ambassador, you will play a vital role in promoting RollaDome’s roller skating clubs, birthday parties, and employability programs by visiting schools, attending events, and networking with local organisations. Your energy, people skills, and passion for getting others involved will help bring new participants into our programs and increase our presence across boroughs.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent RollaDome at schools, youth centres, and community events.
- Promote our services, including skating clubs, classes, parties, and training programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with school staff, community leaders, and youth organisations.
- Distribute leaflets, posters, and program information within schools and key community venues.
- Gather expressions of interest and pass them to the relevant team members.
- Share regular updates on outreach activities via email, short voice notes, or a simple log sheet.
- Provide informal feedback from schools and communities to help us tailor our services.
What You Bring
- Confidence in speaking with people and promoting activities you believe in.
- A friendly, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to engaging with new communities.
- Basic IT confidence (email, WhatsApp, and phone communication are sufficient).
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Healthwatch Haringey is the independent ‘people’s champion’ for health and social
care in the London Borough of Haringey.
We actively seek out the views of the public and patients on all matters relating to
health and social care, e.g. their experience in hospital, interim care, at the GP or
dentist, and collate those together to produce impact statements and reports.
With this evidence we seek to campaign for and change for the better the way
health and social care services are designed, delivered, and improved.
We have a statutory role, as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2012, are a
member of the London Borough of Haringey Health and Wellbeing Board and have
excellent relations with Commissioners across the borough. We also have a great
staff team who work hard to achieve the aims of Healthwatch Haringey.
While you might not have a background in health or social care, we are looking
for someone who has the transferrable skills to play a leading part in the future of
Healthwatch Haringey.
You will ensure Healthwatch Haringey is well governed with robust policies and
procedures in place, continue to establish and build constructive relationships with
Healthwatch Haringey’s key stakeholders and represent the organisation externally
whenever appropriate as one of its leading ambassadors.
As well as line managing the Healthwatch Haringey Manager, you will be responsible
for the strategic development of the organisation, the setting of priorities and the
delivery of statutory and contractual obligations.
