We have 250 local groups which play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS across the UK. They provide sense of belonging, unity and friendship. And they deliver services and support for their local MS community.

We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for our Perth and Kinross group. As our local Group Coordinator you’ll take the lead in making sure your local group works as effectively as possible. You’ll recruit, induct and support other group volunteers to make sure your group’s activities meet the needs of your local MS community. In this role you’ll be able to develop your leadership, management, communication, organisation and motivation skills. 

Time Commitment

We estimate this role will need around 5 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

Youth Helpers work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units by supporting our Youth Leaders to deliver sessions across our range of programmes. In this role, you'll support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Helpers also help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and generally encourage them to strive to be the best they can be, as well as supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.

You’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time.

Our intern will be… 

• Researching potential donors, funding bodies, and grant opportunities. 

• Researching and collecting data on relevant issues and current events (i.e suicide, HIV, etc.)

• Assisting with community fundraising events and initiatives. 

• Organising and updating donor databases. 

• Supporting donor communication and stewardship. 

• Monitoring and reporting on current donor and fundraising trends. 

• Assisting in writing and preparing small grant applications. 

• Contributing creative ideas to fundraising campaigns and strategies. 

We are looking for an intern who… 

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Has a strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. 

• Is comfortable using spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel). 

• Has an ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.

• Can commit to three days a week, including Wednesday. 

This internship is ideal for students, recent graduates, or career changers looking to gain valuable experience in the charity sector. You'll receive mentorship and a space to grow in a supportive, inclusive environment. We also offer regular learning and development opportunities for interns designed to provide a deeper insight into Body & Soul’s unique approach. 

This is an unpaid internship with travel and lunch expenses covered if needed.

Role Title: Graphic Designer

Quilombo UK is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. Quilombo UK is a not for profit social enterprise that challenges people to think differently and bridge gaps between communities, with the aim of building a culturally rich society, where differences are accepted and celebrated. As chosen among 160 other organizations to work in collaboration with the Home Office on the “Building a Stronger Britain together” project, you will be joining a team, which not only supports the community but also stands up to extremism in all of its forms.

Quilombo UK works in collaboration with QMC Capoeira School, giving you the chance to support QMC Capoeira which is one of the most awarded Capoeira Schools in UK (UK Coaching Awards, Gillette Sports Awards, Kingston Council Sports Awards).

Main Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design

Essential Skills

• Proven graphic designing experience

As our local group Activities Organiser you’ll play a crucial role in developing and planning activities and events with your local group. You’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating an annual calendar of events and making sure they’re run safely and effectively to make the most impact. You’ll take a lead role at events on the day and inspire your fellow volunteers to get involved.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication, administration and negotiation skills. 

Time commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

Join the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth as a Safeguarding Committee Member

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals who are passionate and committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people, to contribute to the work of the Safeguarding Committee for the Diocese of Portsmouth.

Time Commitment

The Safeguarding Committee meets 5 times a year with a mix of ‘online’ and in person meetings. Members are required to attend a minimum of 3 meetings a year.
