About the role:
These roles are based in London with hybrid working between home and our office in London.
As a Senior IDVA you will:
- effectively manage and develop a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk.
- need to ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
- lead in crisis situations, providing advice and guidance on safeguarding issues and information sharing.
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
- Develop your team and address their individual development/performance needs, set individual and team objectives and undertake annual appraisals.
To be successful in these roles, you will need:
- a strong understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children, and the legal and practical remedies available to these clients.
- knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practice and legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments.
- experience managing the delivery of domestic abuse services and managerial experience will also be necessary as well as having a thorough understanding of IDVA work.
- a proven ability to confidently use various IT systems including Case Management, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Outlook and other online applications/platforms.
- a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, a relevant degree, a vocational qualification or have equivalent experience.

About the role:
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
You will need:
- knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- an understanding of safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- experience providing direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.

We are recruiting for a Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our team in Warwickshire.
Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £25,857.12 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday 9:00am -17:00pm with some late shifts required (12.30pm-20.30pm to cover the helpline on a rota basis (approx. 2 late shifts per month)

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
Based within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, the IDVA team works within a multi-agency system to provide a trauma responsive, person centered independent service for victims of domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making. You will hold a case load of high-risk victims, working proactively to support them and their families.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality service to those at the highest risk.
- To provide practical and emotional support to service users, working jointly with them to carry out, implement and review needs assessments and support plans.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records.
About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
You will need:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
- Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

About the Role
As a Case Manager you will strive to make contact and work on a one-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this you will work alongside existing agencies to design a co-ordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risk, and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.
You will work closely with the IDVA's (integrated partner support) to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse and /or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
As the Therapeutic Team Manager, you will oversee the qualified and non-qualified therapeutic staff working across multiple teams.
We provide group trauma recovery, facilitated by Adult Therapeutic Practitioners, domestic abuse education, Children Therapeutic Practitioners, and specialist Counsellors. These offerings help people who have experienced trauma, like domestic abuse, to recover. We use a survivor-informed, peer-led model for self-advocacy, empowerment, and independence to help people through a person-centered approach.
As Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a psychologically safe and supportive environment for staff working in emotionally demanding roles. You will lead with empathy and integrity, ensuring team members feel heard, valued, and empowered to raise concerns without fear. Through regular supervision, reflective practice, and wellbeing initiatives, you will promote resilience and mental health, enabling staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse.
You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support to people using our services, ensuring contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

Key Responsibilities
To provide leadership, direction and support to practitioners including leading in recruitment, training, scheduling and supervising staff, ensuring excellent management of the team delivering domestic abuse support to high-risk service users.

Additionally, to support the MARAC process and wider information sharing with statutory partners.
Ensure the services work to applicable accreditations and professional standards.
To promote a culture of engagement, improvement and best practice within the therapeutic teams, to deliver a high quality and accessible service.
To develop and maintain a culture and systems that promote trauma informed practice and equality within the therapeutic team, valuing diversity and offering empathy to victims of abuse, people who cause harm and violence.
To lead on reporting outcomes linked to the therapeutic team and the support of people using services.
Carefully monitor and evaluate the performance of the therapeutic team, with a focus on quality assurance.
Proactively build relationships with the wider statutory and voluntary partners across FearFree services, with a focus on supporting high risk adult victims of domestic abuse.
Actively network across the operating area to build the charity’s reputation and harness support for the organisation.

Free To Fly is a registered charity supporting expectant mothers to leave abusive relationships and protect their unborn babies. Following successful fundraising and network-building in Portsmouth, they have appointed Charisma to support the recruitment of a Charity Lead, to lead and launch their Portsmouth project.
As their first paid employee, the Charity Lead, reporting to the Board of Trustees, will lead the day to day operational, strategic and business functions of the charity. You will be agreeing budgets and managing finances (with support and input from our Board and accountants), recruiting and mentoring volunteer teams, ambassadors, and future paid team members, driving fundraising via corporate partnerships, individual giving, events, and other income streams. With a responsibility for ensuring the charity’s sustainability, growth, and impact you will be the face and voice, representing the charity at meetings, events and in the media.
