About the team
The CRM Product Team at WaterAid UK drives data-led fundraising and campaigning by collaborating across departments to ensure our Dynamics365 CRM system meets business needs.
About the role
As our CRM Product Manager, you will define and deliver a visionary CRM strategy that empowers WaterAid’s fundraising success, working closely with technical teams, fundraising stakeholders, and global partners to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Set and lead the CRM vision for WaterAid UK and work with international colleagues on a global CRM strategy.
- Define and own the CRM roadmap, aligning it with strategic priorities and ensuring a well-managed product backlog and measurable outcomes.
- Lead and develop the CRM Product team, fostering a high-performing culture and delivering a best-in-class platform for fundraising operations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, championing CRM benefits and ensuring the platform supports income growth across key fundraising channels.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other enterprise CRM platforms, and a clear understanding of how CRM drives fundraising strategy.
- Strong business and systems analysis skills, including the ability to write effective user stories and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams through technology transformation, with experience in stakeholder management and navigating change.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and manage supplier relationships and budgets effectively.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of fundraising-specific CRM services such as GiftAid, Direct Debits, BACs, event and supporter management.
- Experience with extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, particularly handling large batch data operations.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Programmes Funding & Partnerships Team contributes to WaterAid’s mission by cultivating and securing income from institutional and non-institutional partners for all WaterAid’s programmes globally so that WaterAid can effectively deliver on its mission. To be successful, you will need:
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of building and delivering Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using BI technology, particularly Power BI
- Experience and expertise at writing SQL queries within SQL Server or similar toolAbility to use, understand and manage complex data sources: ability to extract data and identify and resolve inconsistencies that will impact on data accuracy and financial KPIs
- Capacity to provide robust analysis; ability to present complex information/data simply to a range of audiences
- Ability to produce concise narrative performance analysis with good attention to detail
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Background / strong understanding of restricted/institutional funding for development.
- Background and practice in fundraising and funding contract management
- Salesforce, Dynamics, Microsoft Fabric experience

About the role
As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage new and existing corporate partnerships and our payroll giving scheme to foster powerful partnerships that drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively manage new and existing corporate partners, ensuring that each partner is appropriately supported and is reaching its full potential.
- Manage WaterAid’s Payroll Giving scheme including managing relationships with Professional Fundraising Organisations and Payroll Giving Agencies.
- Monitor partner-funded programme KPIs and budgets and ensure high quality reporting.
- Work with and make presentations to a range of contact types within our corporate partners.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Education to degree level or equivalent work experience in relevant areas.
- A track record of Partnership Management including proven experience of growing and developing partnerships with companies.
- Experience of writing high quality and engaging proposals and reports for a corporate audience as well as experience of making presentations to senior level contacts and / or large groups of employees.
- Able to forge effective working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside the organisation and across a range of industries and differing business cultures.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of international development and understanding of overseas development issues.
- Experience of developing corporate accounts over £100,000.
- Experience of Payroll Giving scheme.
