Job description

Prospectus is supporting Abianda with the search for a new Sales Officer. This is a unique opportunity to support selling training courses for an award-winning social enterprise that works with young women and girls affected by gangs and county lines so they can be free from harm and abuse.

This is a 2 years contract with the prospect of becoming permanent thereafter. Abianda can offer this on a 4, 4.5 or 5 days per week basis and you will need to spend a minimum of 1 day per week in the office (Canonbury, London).

As the Sales Officer, you will work with the Head of Income Generation and Sustainability to sell Abianda’s unique training course. You will also manage the relationships with key stakeholders and existing accounts whilst coordinating with Abianda’s inhouse Trainers to ensure smooth planning and delivery of the training courses. You will be a valued member of a passionate, talented and supportive team.

To be successful, you will have evidence of meeting income generation targets; this could be through sales in any sector, and so this may be your first step into a charity or social enterprise setting. You will be a confident communicator with resilience and will have a passion for Abianda’s mission.

At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you with your application. We welcome candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds. Please note that Abianda is a women’s only employer and as such this position is exempt under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Please let us know if you need reasonable adjustments to our process. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who is interested and meets the minimum requirements can apply.

In order to apply please submit your CV in the first instance. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and application form and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You will then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to connecting with you soon.
