Foundation First Ghana is a nonprofit dedicated to giving every child a strong start in life. Through our PreCARE Initiative (Preschool Care, Feed, Educate, and Empower), we provide meals, uniforms, school kits, and teacher training for preschool children in low-fee private schools across Ghana.

We are seeking an Online Volunteer Partnerships Development Officer to help us strengthen our fundraising and partnership efforts by leveraging their networks, skills, and creativity to connect us with potential donors, partners, and sponsors globally.

Key Responsibilities

As a volunteer, you will support Foundation First Ghana by:

• Researching potential donors, foundations, and CSR opportunities that align with our mission.
• Helping draft or review proposals, partnership pitches, and concept notes.
• Sharing our campaigns (such as our GoFundMe drive) within your networks and encouraging support.
• Connecting Foundation First to relevant individuals, organizations, or grant opportunities.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a team of volunteers to join our new Welcome team at Tooting Hub. This is a new role. Welcome volunteers will provide a friendly face to existing community members attending our regular projects. They will also be the important ‘face of CARAS and our welcome at the door’ to people attending projects for the first time, to visitors and to people dropping in unannounced to enquire about CARAS’s service. Volunteers will meet and greet, and ensure all visitors are responded to appropriately and introduced to the relevant member of staff, activity, project, or meeting. There will be an administrative element to the role (updating registers and emailing enquiries to CARAS staff, for example).

We work hard to ensure our services feel welcoming and inclusive. It is important that this new team is representative of our diverse local and internal CARAS community. As our Mentor Recruitment Volunteer, you’ll be the spark that brings our mentoring programme to life, by finding, engaging, and supporting individuals who are ready to make a lasting impact in a young person’s journey.

What You’ll Do

• Promote mentor opportunities across social media, community networks, and events.

• Help design and deliver outreach campaigns to attract diverse, passionate mentors.

• Support the screening and onboarding process.

• Assist with mentor training and ongoing engagement.

• Celebrate mentor stories and build a vibrant, supportive community.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and outreach skills.

• A warm, inclusive approach to relationship-building.

• Passion for youth empowerment and social justice.

• Experience in recruitment, HR, or mentoring (bonus but not essential).
