Youth Worker - Creative Arts

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £5,116.25

Employment Type: Permanent - Part Time (10 hours)

About the role:

Their Hub is a state-of-the-art world class facility for young people and the community, delivering a range of youth work programmes and interventions. They are currently seeking a Creative Arts Youth Worker - who can deliver a youth work programme that provides a range of creative art activities to challenge and further develop children and young people. 

Please Note:  As young people will be part of the interview and selection process all interviews will take place on an evening/ weekend. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To work as part of the youth team to deliver a high-quality youth work programme creating exciting and innovative opportunities for improving the lives of young people and the wider community.

  • To deliver a varied creative arts programme including music, dance and crafts for young people, ensuring young people are able to engage regardless of creativity or experience.

  • Deliver, monitor and review activities in line with their Foundation’s Youth Impact Framework and Theory of Change. 

  • To be alert to issues of safeguarding, behaviour management and incident reporting processes ensuring the welfare and safety of Hub members.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A professional Youth Work qualification at level 2 or equivalent experience.

  • Experience of leading design, delivery and evaluation of creative arts-based activities and projects with children and young people.

  • Ability to communicate and respond to the changing needs of young people.

  • Experience of delivering innovative and engaging activities to involve young people in decision making.

*Due to the nature of this role, any offers made will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
