The role
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and proactive Corporate and Community Fundraiser to help to grow vital income streams and support our mission to improve the lives of unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

You will develop and deliver community and corporate fundraising initiatives that inspire people to support our charity, ensuring we can continue to be there for the thousands of unpaid carers who rely on us every year.

With a friendly and approachable manner, you can inspire and motivate supporters, whether they are individuals, community groups or corporate partners. You are creative, self-motivated and well organised, able to take initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines. With a positive and proactive attitude, you thrive on developing and delivering fundraising ideas that make a real impact, and you can adapt your approach to suit different audiences and situations.
You will have a good understanding of the importance of excellent supporter care and take pride in providing a professional and memorable experience to everyone you engage with. You are comfortable representing the charity at events and meetings, sometimes outside of normal office hours, and are committed to upholding our values in everything you do. Key responsibilities
Fundraising & Income Generation
· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission
· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness
· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach
· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from all parts of our community
· Promote and support third-party fundraising events, providing advice, materials, and encouragement to maximise their success
Community Engagement
· Be a warm and visible ambassador for The Carers Centre, representing our values at local events, community spaces with empathy and enthusiasm.
· Support the development of volunteer fundraising networks and champions
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure carers’ voices are at the heart of messaging and initiatives
Corporate Partnerships
Research, approach, build and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities
· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners
Communications & Administration
· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels
· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system
· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values
General
Ensure that you;
· Uphold and embed our values and behavioural competencies in your work
· Deliver against the agreed workplan.

· Work within The Carers’ Centre’s policy framework.
· Ensure that you adopt good practice within the Carers Trust network.

· Work with the Carbon Champion, the Senior Leadership Team and small working group of colleagues to look for ways to reduce carbon footprint across the organisation, make cost savings on energy usage and achieve targets throughout the Carbon Footprint project
· Support the Carbon Champion by implementing environmentally friendly practices to help reduce our carbon footprint.

About the role
Shelter Manchester are recruiting for a number of Housing Rights Workers to cover our city wide advice service.
As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities. This will involve working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities. You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.
You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. You will offer day to day support to volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.
About you
You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.

The Organisation

The Role

About You
To be considered as a Skilled Gardener, you will need:
- Demonstrable practical horticultural experience

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety
- Good plant knowledge, particularly around shrubs, herbaceous and bulbous plants
- Working knowledge of horticultural plant and machinery operations

Job Title: Senior Supervising Social Worker (Specialist Step Forward from Residential Hub)
Salary: £37,088 per annum (increasing to £41,208 after 18 months) + £750 per annum Homeworking Allowance + £1,500 per annum Out of Hours Allowance (once participating on the rota)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supervising Social Worker to support our first hub of foster carers dedicated to caring for children stepping forward from residential care. You will supervise and support a hub of foster carers and a small number of specialist ‘Step Forward’ foster carers. In partnership with Local Authorities, you will contribute to matching identified children, undertaking pre-placement assessments, preparation and introductions. You will also play a key role in building relationships with new carers prior to approval. You will be part of our Ofsted Outstanding-rated North West team, with access to support from our Education Service and psychological services. Your practice will be rooted in PACE and DDP approaches.
The Senior Supervising Social Worker will be an essential presence in our recruitment and retention of carers events and must be willing to travel regularly as part of their duties.

Pay and conditions

We lead regular gardening sessions to grow and cultivate plants, arts workshops to offer new skills and a programme of live music and events. The charity is growing. We have eight garden projects open and are fundraising for our ninth garden in Middlesbrough.
This role will assist with the content creation of engaging written, film and visual content across different platforms, scheduling and moderating our social channels, and helping us report on our digital activity. You will support the rollout of the new regional social media channels for each garden to help place storytelling and impact at the heart of our communications.

We’re now seeking an ambitious, senior leader in fundraising and marketing for a unique opportunity to become our new Executive Director of Charities. The role will be responsible for shaping the future of our three NHS charities - Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Evelina London Children’s Charity, and Guy’s Cancer Charity and deliver impact that changes lives every day.

What you’ll do
Reporting directly to our CEO, you will lead the Charities Team – overseeing directors across fundraising, marketing, funding & impact, strategy and innovation, and business and play a key role on the Foundation’s Executive Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & culture – uniting teams behind a shared vision, fostering high performance, and embedding diversity and inclusion.
- Strategy & fundraising – driving ambitious income growth, shaping large-scale propositions, and championing a culture of philanthropy across the Foundation and the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
- Funding & impact – ensuring we invest strategically in health and equity, while strengthening how we measure and demonstrate impact.
- Partnerships – building deep, collaborative relationships with the Trust’s Executive team, senior clinical leaders, donors and partners.
- Governance & oversight – ensuring robust structures, efficiency and capability for long-term growth and success.
Who you are:
- A vision and mission driven leader, encouraging diverse, positive and collaborative cultures; and developing inclusive processes.
- A proven track record in strategic fundraising and marketing leadership and income growth.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams in complex organisations, including leading leaders.
- Skill in strategy development and delivery, with the commercial acumen to drive results.
- The ability to inspire diverse stakeholders from senior NHS leaders to high-value donors.
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
