As an Account Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of BSAVA’s event portfolio from concept through to delivery, ensuring every experience reflects our mission to drive excellence in veterinary practice. Alongside managing a small portfolio of established events, you’ll play a key role in developing and implementing new event concepts as the Association’s event strategy evolves, helping to shape the future of our community engagement.
Working closely with colleagues, partners, and suppliers, you’ll create innovative, impactful, and financially sustainable events that foster learning, connection, and professional growth.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience managing complex events, excellent stakeholder and project management skills, and the confidence to work both creatively and strategically.

Skills and experience:
• Proven experience leading the planning and delivery of events from concept through to evaluation
• Managing multiple stakeholders, including committees, partners and suppliers
• Overseeing budgets, timelines and operational delivery
• Developing and maintaining strong client and partner relationships
• Contributing creative ideas to enhance attendee experience and event impact
• Experience in using event management platforms
Other essential skills include:
• Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills
• Strong project management capability and attention to detail
• Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities effectively
• Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong IT skills, including use of MS Office, event management systems and CRM platforms
• A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
• Understanding of GDPR and event health and safety requirements
• Adaptable, resourceful, and willing to learn new systems and processes
Desirable skills (but not essential):
• Experience delivering events within the veterinary, life sciences, or not-for-profit sectors
• Knowledge of sponsor and exhibition management
• Experience developing commercial opportunities and managing partner relationships

The Fundraising and Grants Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of WeProtect Global Alliance’s 2026–2029 Investment Strategy. You will lead the day-to-day management of our multi-donor grants portfolio, ensuring that donor obligations are met and that grant and financial management systems are robust, efficient, and compliant.
Working closely with the Head of Development and colleagues across the Secretariat, you will contribute to donor stewardship, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and support the development of new and renewed funding opportunities with governments, multilateral institutions, foundations, and private donors.
We are seeking a highly organised and values-driven professional with proven experience managing complex donor-funded grants. About the role
We are recruiting for a Head of Supporter Experience and Optimisation to join on a permanent contract. This is newly created role and will be home-based, working full-time, 35 hours per week, with occasional travel required for team and stakeholder meetings and events.
The last few years have seen unprecedented growth in the public profile of dementia, driven in part by the growing size, impact and ambition of Alzheimer’s Society - the UK’s leading dementia charity. We now need to ensure that everyone who needs dementia support today can access it, while improving our ability to attract, engage and retain the donors, volunteers and campaigners who so generously give money, time and voice to deliver enduring change.
As Head of Supporter Experience and Optimisation you will lead the strategic alignment and continuous improvement of how we deliver for our supporters (donors, campaigners, volunteers), transforming how we work across the Income and Engagement directorate. You will bring together our critical enabling functions focused on performance, planning and reporting; supporter experience delivery and improvement; administration and people development. We are looking for you to drive a joined-up approach to transformation that enhances both internal effectiveness and external impact.
You’ll champion a seamless, meaningful supporter journey, ensuring every interaction reflects our values and strengthens engagement, with a clear focus on improving the end-to-end supporter experience. You’ll embed a culture of insight-led decision making, collaboration, accountability, operational excellence and learning, ensuring our people are empowered to thrive and deliver their best to help end the devastation of dementia.
At all times, you’ll act as a passionate, articulate champion of the importance of our supporter’s experience. About you

Susan’s Farm is an energetic organisation delivering a broad range of activities. Our charitable purpose is to transform people’s lives through learning and therapeutic experiences on an organic working livestock farm. After six years as a charity, and following a recent governance and staffing review, we are now seeking to appoint a dedicated managing director to oversee all aspects of the charity’s work. The Managing Director will join a small but committed staff team and report to enthusiastic board of trustees.
Susan’s Farm is based in Houghton, a small village 3 miles from Carlisle and delivers its educational activities on site as well as on the other half of our farm near Armathwaite and for a neighbouring farmer at Aglionby. We have a small learning centre at Houghton and also work closely with Cumbria Wildlife Trust whose Northern office is on land adjacent to our farm.
We have three main strands of delivery; primary school visits, alternative provision placements and care farmer placements and are certified by Social Farms & Gardens. We are a beef and sheep Organic and Pasture for Life certified Farm. We also have hens and geese and some horticultural activity. Our farm produce is sold direct to the customer.
Susan’s Farm is a registered charity converting from a CIC in 2019. Before that our founder, Susan Aglionby ran educational activities on the farm over a period of more than 20 years. Over the last six years considerable effort has been devoted to professionalising the organisation and our delivery work and we are no ready for the next stage.
ROLE FOCUS:
To support, manage and provide dynamic leadership to Susan’s Farm and its staff and services. Working with the Board of Trustees to ensure that Susan’s Farm meets its requirements, as a charity in delivering services, and to maintain its reputation as a national and local leader in working to provide services to its beneficiaries through the experience of a farm. To further develop the organisation and the services it offers promoting the charity’s principles.
