Job description

Sense are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to work 37.5 hours per week at our purpose built centre TouchBase Pears in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Salary: Circa £21,700 to £23,200 per annum

About the role

Our Finance Officers support their line manager and team members to ensure the integrity of finance data that is captured in ledgers and that cash is received and paid in a timely manner. Working as part of our Sales Ledger and Credit Control team you will be responsible for raising invoices, chasing and allocating payments, processing accruals, and resolving queries.

Sense provides a range of support services for people with complex disabilities including residential, supported living, and day services. We are commissioned by over 100 local authorities and clinical commissioning groups across the UK.

About you

Our successful candidate will have experience working for a large organisation with varied income streams and will have recent experience of working in accounts receivable and credit control. 

You'll have a tenacious attitude to query resolution and debt chasing. Your role will involve engaging with operational staff, local authorities and the families of the people we support, so excellent communications skills and an empathetic manner is a must.
