As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across South East London, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups—particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.
You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities
- Focus on expanding our reach in areas of multiple deprivation and underrepresentation
- Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings
- Recruit, train and support volunteers—making sure they feel valued and inspired
- Work with your regional team to meet shared goals and celebrate local impact
- Help secure local funding by supporting fundraising efforts and managing project deliverables

A few practical things:

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to take charge of all fiscal matters to enable the charities work to continue to flourish and grow. The responsibilities of this post are:-
- Create and record monthly sale invoices to send to clients and customers and credit control
- Process supplier invoices
- Manage petty cash, credit cards and cash flow
- Undertake payroll, expenses and pensions
- Check monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations,
- Prepare the annual financial budgets in conjunction with the Senior Management Team and CEO
- Prepare monthly accounts and reports comparing actual expenditure to budget for St James Centre and report any major variances to the CEO
- Prepare a summary financial report for Board Members (approximately 6 times per year)
- Work with the company auditors to support the preperation of he Annual Accounts
Person Specification: You will need to have at least an AAT Level 4 qualification or a full or part qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA and a minimum of 3 years experience of managing finance in a medium sized Organisation. Excellent IT skills in Moneysoft, Sage, Excel and Word are needed. Knowledge of the Voluntary Sector is helpful. Willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
The salary is £35,921 per annum. We offer 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a corporate partnerships and sponsorship strategy aligned to the charity’s overall fundraising plan.

Business Development

Relationship Management

- Work with the Marketing & Communications team to develop compelling partnership and sponsorship materials, case studies.

What we need from you

The International Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing complex, high-risk financial operations related to our partner's international grantmaking and emergency relief support. BACKGROUND
Bridge 5 Mill is a centre of social change in a historic 5 storey mill on the edge of Ancoats / Northern Quarter, comprising workspaces and event spaces. Our unique sustainable and ethical approach characterises our building and drives all our activities. Bridge 5 Mill is part of a family of organisations (part of the Fairfield Environment Trust, a registered charity) including the Kindling Trust, promoting ecological and social justice through a broad range of projects.
We have just fixed our broken lift. This is great news, as the period without a lift had a significant impact on our community of tenants, wider users and on our income from venue hire (with far fewer events able to take place during this time). This came on the tail of the Covid pandemic, which transformed how and when people use workspaces and events spaces.
We are now at a pivotal time to rebuild both our events program and our offer as a beautiful, ethical and central venue to hire, as well as exploring how to diversify our services. You will be an instrumental part in the development and growth of our activities and in overcoming these recent challenges.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a small dedicated team to help us deliver our vision. Alongside the Building Manager, your role will cover day to day operations, reception, events and marketing. You will be central to supporting events and our hirers, promoting our social change vision, and making Bridge 5 Mill a thriving community hub. MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE
Events and community building duties;
- First point of contact for enquiries about events or from potential hirers

About the role
Reporting in to the Finance Operations Lead, the Restricted Funds Manager will act as the Finance business partner to the Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) for restricted funding programmes and to ensure the integrity of restricted funds financial reporting, fostering a team mindset
and facilitate meaningful collaboration across teams.
The post-holder will provide strategic insight into financial restricted management reporting and being able to influence key stakeholders.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Restricted Funds Manager include:
- Drive effective decision in collaboration with MCC’s to track and manage the financial performance of restricted funds projects, highlighting key trends, variances, areas of risk and opportunity, including restricted I&E, restricted balance sheet and cash (including negative cash balances) as well as detailed fund code analysis.
- Support the development of high impact initiatives and delivery of restricted projects through the provision of expert commercial finance input through to the project completion.
- Provide functional leadership facilitating meaningful collaboration to the MCC teams by building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all departmental senior managers and their MCC teams.
- Manage financial delivery for the planning and budgeting processes for Christian Aid institutional income working closely with the programme funding team.
- Support country offices with new restricted fund proposal(s), including budget development and final review to ensure that key elements of the proposed budget are included and adhere to the restricted fund policy (e.g. overhead recovery rate, direct cost recovery, cashflow requirements).
- Collaborate with MCC’s and Programme Funding Team in preparing and undertaking external country office donor audits, closing off fund codes, and confirming Partner balances.
- Coordinate between MCC and the Programme Funding Team, when undertaking a multi-country donor led project, inclusive of the whole project cycle from submission of proposal through to donor audit and final donor report.
- Enable and validate the preparation of all notes relating to institutional donor funds for Christian Aid's statutory accounts.
- Promote the exchange of ideas empowering MCC teams to maximise impact in proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change with the ability to listen, interpret, influence, negotiate, inspire and challenge.

Overall Duties of the Finance Officer – Accounts Payable will include:
