The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. Our partners range from complex programmatic-focused partners to employee engagement-driven partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, and volunteering. Key Responsibilities

Background to the post
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the financial administration of the Asylum Justice office, maintaining accurate financial records and accounts (with support from the Treasurer), claiming GiftAid, and liaising with suppliers. This role will have limited client contact as the focus of the role is to lead on maintaining financial processes.
Key responsibilities and duties
The post holder will have the following areas of responsibility: -
1. Finance (90%)
a.Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and set up online payments for authorisation;
b.Draft monthly payroll figures to send to the accountants.
c.Work with the Funding Officer to use QuickBooks in keeping track of payments and grant fund expenditures.
d.Liaise with the Treasurer and Chair of Asylum Justice in order to produce quarterly budget reports.
e.Aid preparation of financial information and budgets for funding bids, grant reporting and audits with support from the Treasurer and Funding Officer.
f.Liaise with auditor and Treasurer for annual accounts.
g.Process GiftAid claims with support from Funding Officer.

About the Role
Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. This position is responsible for the full finance function and responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for the development and successful delivery of the Finance function;
- Leading on financial planning, preparing annual budgets and quarterly management accounts;
- Preparing year end SORP accounts and liaising with the auditors; producing the Annual Report and Financial Statements; reporting to Finance, Audit and Risk Committee, Investment Committee and the Board of Trustees;
- Liaising with investment managers to obtain regular reports of performance and undertaking new investment movement analysis;
- Ensuring the Foundation’s policies are kept up to date and compliant;
- Communicating complex financial information and influencing and building rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of the UK charity or not for profit sector, advanced knowledge of SORP and charity VAT. You will have led a strategic finance function, produced statutory accounts, management accounts, financial reports and analysis. You will have demonstrable commercial acumen, a strong understanding of business and strategic issues, and the ability to appropriately challenge and advise budget holders. You will have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping us achieve our vision.

A small but highly specialist professional membership body & not-for-profit is seeking a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role is paying circa £32,000 per annum and offers hybrid working – this will be a mixture of office-based work in central London and home-working. They also offer a generous pension and other benefits.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, The Finance Officer will work in a small finance team, and will primarily focus on 3 core areas:
- Purchase Ledger (invoices and payment runs)
- Payroll (using SAAS, software as a service where a payroll system is rented from an external provider but effectively done in-house) for around 50 staff
- Month-end duties (reconciliations and journals)
Other duties will include assisting with sales ledger, dealing with suppliers, financial admin & filing and assisting the Management Accountant with various duties.
The organisation is seeking an experienced, professional Finance Officer, ideally AAT fully-qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified. Experience with charity sector finance will be useful but not essential. Experience with payroll will also be very useful, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
