Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager, it is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Shop Manager in Surbiton's brand new Scope shop (Victoria Road, Surbiton). The shop will be opening mid 2024. You will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. You will also demonstrate an appreciation of Scope’s values and ambition of achieving Everyday Equality for disabled people.

The Bike Project is looking for a new Fundraising Executive to join our team. This role supports all of our fundraising activity so will give the post holder exposure to all areas of fundraising from Major Doors to Corporate Partnerships, Events and Fundraising Appeals. Alongside this the role will manage the relationships and support given to our Community Fundraisers and our participants in London to Brighton and Ride 100 events.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising money to fund the work of The Bike Project. The role holder will need to have experience working in customer service and be confident using digital platforms and apps to enhance working practices. Although desirable, fundraising experience is not essential as training will be provided.
Being a small charity, we work in an agile manner which allows for creative ideas to flourish and new ideas to be implemented quickly. We hold donation sessions weekly out of our London and Birmingham workshops, so there is opportunity to see the impact of your work first hand.

EDUCATION FOR ALL MOROCCO transforms the lives of marginalised girls, in the High Atlas mountains, enabling them to fulfil their potential, reducing social injustice and inequalities, improving the quality of life for women, and their communities.
Prior to the Al Haouz earthquake in September 2023 EFA funded six boarding houses, enabling young women to access senior school education. Five boarding houses were destroyed. Astonishingly, no girls or staff were in them at the time.
We are unashamedly ambitious to build on EFAs transformational work over the last two decades. Our Covid Recovery Strategy focussed on widening our impact, and the earthquake has just made us even more determined to deliver on our promise, because we have never been more relevant.
Due to the extraordinary generosity of donors, we have funding in place to support a major rebuilding programme. However we don't want to simply rebuild. Due to covid and the earthquake there is a lot of catching up to do.
As Head of Fundraising & Communications you will work with the trustees to deliver the strategic vision, by developing and implementing a successful fundraising and communications strategy. A new website is under construction and the successful applicant will play a leading role in determining its fundraising functionality, content, and messaging.

Job Purpose:
The Institutional Funding Manager will play an important role in SHA’s institutional income generation activities. Working closely with assigned country teams, the post-holder will support pipeline development, lead the development and writing of high-quality bids, donor engagement, and positioning for contract and grant opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for this role.
French and/or Portuguese language skills are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Proposal development
- Identify, research and advise on new funding opportunities.

Young People’s Senior Peer Research Coordinator - Haringey
Are you passionate about working with young people? Do you have experience of project management, involvement and research methods and helping others to do research?
If yes, we have the ideal job for you. We are working in partnership with the Peace Alliance in Haringey as part of the Peer Action Collective to develop solutions with young people to address youth violence. The work is funded by the Youth Endowment Fund.
Working with young people aged 10-20, as well as local secondary schools and colleges, the project will carry out peer research and develop social action projects.
The person in this role will be excellent at co-ordinating multiple projects and groups, with strong project management skills and will be a core part of our delivery team. You will also get the opportunity to work on other young people’s involvement projects at McPin.
The post is full time and will suit someone who would like some flexibility in working hours, as there will be evening, weekend work plus school holiday activities, including Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-7 pm at Tottenham Town Hall. Your time will be split between working from Tottenham Town Hall in Haringey, the McPin Foundation offices in London and remote working as needed for project delivery.
You will link with stakeholders – schools, the police, local councillors – to help build networks to drive our social action projects forward.

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.
Our aim is to improve clinical care, education, and PVD research. Together, we deliver conferences, e-learning, and an academic journal, raise awareness of PVD, and encourage collaboration in research.
About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate high-quality webinars.
