The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Last year we saw a 133% growth in the numbers of young people facing homelessness coming through our doors. Now, nearly half of them are - or recently have been - sleeping rough and with the numbers of young rough sleepers in the capital growing at an alarming rate, New Horizon Youth Centre has had to take decisive action to unlock support and housing for this group. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. London's Air Ambulance treats patients who experience critical injury in the capital and support them and their families on a road to recovery. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance this post supports the provision of high quality financial reporting to assist budget holders, managers, directors and trustees. The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. Role Overview:
As the People Business Partner, you’ll report to the Director of People, Finance, and Governance. You will lead on setting up and delivering a value-added people centric business partnering service. You’ll collaborate closely with the extended leadership team (ELT) and people managers and the internal People and Culture team to identify people priorities, create directorate-specific people and organisational development plans, and implement organisation-wide people strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning with RCOT’s strategy, vision, and values.

Requirements:
- Must be qualified and a Chartered Member of CIPD.

- Proven commercial experience in business partnership.

Elders Voice is a local charity serving older people in Brent. We are recruiting a CEO to lead our talented and experienced staff team through a period of change to ensure our financial security.
Elders Voice is an established and trusted charity in the heart of Kensal Green. We believe ageing should be a wonderful and worthwhile journey, but for that to happen older people need to feel safe and happy in their homes and have access to affordable activities in an environment that embraces their differences.
The pillars of our work are a well-respected handyperson service and a day centre offering a range of activities focusing on health and well-being, socialising, art, gardening and intergenerational work with and for older people.
The CEO will need to embrace our aims and lead the EV team to provide services based on holistic, long-term, high-quality relationships and to ensure that older people shape development of our services. In this difficult economic environment, we need to explore new funding opportunities and transition away from a reliance on local authority funding.
You will report directly to the Chair of the Board of Trustees and be supported by the board and a small, dedicated staff team.
Your role:
- To lead the staff team to deliver excellent services for older people in Brent.
- To ensure the financial stability of Elders Voice.
- To work with the board of trustees to develop and deliver the strategic plan.
- To act as an ambassador for Elders Voice and the older people we represent.

The role is within a small team that has a focus on Employer Relationships, Job Finding programmes (including our Alumni Job Club and Jobseekers Plus) In Work support for adults in Employment and Employer Training.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To lead on running our employability training and Alumni Job Club.
2. To develop workshop structures and learning materials for these in close collaboration with the Development Director and ensure that participant feedback from earlier programmes is incorporated.
3. To line manage Development Job Coaches as needed.
4. To manage and deliver job search sessions.
5. To lease with Employability Lead when participants are ready to move over in In Work Support team.
6. To advertise project opportunities to autistic people throughout London and manage project recruitment and onboarding.
7. To ensure processes are in-place for each project to:- assess each participant’s individual skills and gather baseline data; ensure job matches are appropriate to the individual’s needs and aspirations; and that targets set are relevant and promote new skills and learning; acquire and complete necessary risk assessments to ensure safety of clients, staff and partners.
8. To oversee the set up and settling in of jobseekers into work placements, when needed. Providing support and training to employers where required; providing personalised on the job training to participants and employers as required and develop strategies and advise on reasonable adjustments.
9. To coach, train and help manage new project staff to support jobseekers and put in place monitoring protocols.
10. To ensure jobseekers are progressing towards their individual targets; understand protocols and interpret work culture correctly; understand the health & safety in the work environment and adopt appropriate workplace behaviour.
11. To ensure good working relationships are maintained with all employers/ work experience placements and that feedback is regularly sort from all stakeholders to help improve our service delivery and future opportunities.
12. As a key member of the Development Team to work closely with the Development Director to actively, engage with employers and external organisations to promote CareTrade and our job seekers and to pursue opportunities to work collaboratively.
13. To attend events, to market CareTrade to autistic jobseekers and to liaise with Disability Employment Advisors at JobCentre Plus, Disability Services teams, Social Workers and others to promote and support employment opportunities as needed.
14. To organise and promote social groups for jobseekers.
15. To collect data and use data analysis to help produce reports, internally, for funders and partners.
16. To help seek and apply for appropriate awards and grants when required.
17. To be a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and First Aider and complete regular training working alongside the Development Director to ensure the safety of participants and staff.
18. To complete relevant health and safety training and be a named fire marshal.

In this new role, our Policy and Campaigns Manager will develop our policy positions and further our campaigning aims to promote standards-based approaches to the training and welfare of assistance dogs, and to facilitate better access for all those who rely on these highly trained dogs.
