You will be an advocate for systems change and innovation methods and bring a user-centred and design-led approach to your work. You will help ensure our team’s support to our Hubs, members and other teams is flexible in meeting their needs and aligned with Start Network’s vision for change. To give a sense of the week-to-week work, you are likely to be getting involved in…
• Coordinating various aspects of our team’s project delivery, including setting up workshops, liaison with suppliers, grant management etc.
• Coordinating and, where appropriate, providing innovation technical support to hubs, teams and members drawing on your own experience and/or managing external innovation experts. For example, you may lead on the design of a workshop for a staff team that wants help on a particular challenge, based on innovation and design methods.
• Ensuring that relationships with stakeholders are equitable, effective, open, and transparent
• Supporting the team’s contracting, invoicing, and other administrative needs
• Supporting Hubs, members and Start Network teams to build the capabilities and practices necessary for impactful and sustainable locally led humanitarian innovation

Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. About the role
As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. 3. Increasing reach and traffic generation
· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.
· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).
4. Testing to improve results continually
· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.
· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.
5. Digital project management
· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.
6. Campaign support
· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.
7. Gathering community feedback
· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.
8. Supplier collaboration
· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.
This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service.
The Men’s Minds Project Coordinator will work closely with the members in shaping the service and ensuring voices of men in Hounslow are heard and acted upon. This service will be staffed with 1 part-time (25hrs per week) Project Coordinator and a pool of peer led volunteers. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the volunteers.

Main Responsibilities:
· Undertake 1:1, group, detached and outreach work with young people
· Provide one-to-one key-working up to 12 sessions, combining youth work values and principles with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to help address a wide range of issues that may impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing e.g. housing, employment, physical health, education, finances and relationships.

The S&I directorate analyses current and emerging policy and sets the Trust’s strategy and standards for regional delivery across all the Trust’s activities. Reporting to the Head of Environment and Climate action, the Environmental Management and Compliance manager role will be responsible for the Trust’s Environmental Management System and its associated policies, commitments, and standards, linked to the Trusts evolving sustainability and organisational strategies. The role will require establishing good relationships with other teams in the Trust to drive sound environmental practice from our operations and 3rd party activities.
Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for, and day-to-day management of the Trust’s environmental management system
- Deliver a programme of activities and updates to environmental standards, guidance and tools, ensuring that these are delivered on time and within budget. This forms part of a system refresh that will be delivered this financial year.
- Work with internal technical experts and the Trust’s legal team to ensure that the standards meet regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with Trust operational and delivery teams to ensure that standards are deliverable and align with existing and emerging business processes.
- Manage external technical input where requires (e.g. from consultants)
- Assist in the investigation of environmental incidents, near misses and ensure the production and dissemination of key learnings
- Preparation of board and Environmental Advisory Group (EAG) papers and acts as secretariat of EAG meetings
- Producing case studies and other examples of best practice for internal and external audiences
- Developing and delivering environmental training
- Displaying the Trust values and behaviours at all times.
- Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life and promoting inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust’s policies and values.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- IEMA Practitioner qualification or equivalent
- Experience of administering environmental management systems, including a good understanding of ISO14000 family of environmental standards.
- Authoring company standards and guidance
- Broad understanding of key environmental themes and associated legislation (Air Quality, Biodiversity, Water Quality, Waste, Pollution Prevention and Control, Invasive Species)
- Experience of investigating environmental incidents and near misses
- Working knowledge of GIS and using spatial data to support environmental strategies
- Project/ programme management skills

The role will be home-based, with the expectation to attend main regional hubs either at Milton Keynes, Birmingham, or Little Venice (Paddington), for collaborative working. This is a national role, requiring collaboration with teams in all six of the Trust’s regions. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will be able travel to attend meetings or fieldwork throughout the regional waterway network.

We need someone with high quality research and data analysis skills to join us as our Research and Evidence Manager. You will work with us to plan, design and deliver projects with cross-sector stakeholders, as well as developing reports and other ways to share our findings with members and the wider sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that we deliver on our ambition to drive a learning culture, where shared data, intelligence and insight leads to better decision-making. We’ve just committed to a really exciting and crucial piece of research taking place over the next year, where we will work with funders and equity partners to map the current state of funding for equity and justice infrastructure. Our ideal candidate would be someone who has experience of running multiple research projects at once with strong project management skills, and direct experience designing and leading both qualitative and quantitative projects. You’ll also need to be able to work with different stakeholders to both co-design research approaches as well as facilitate their engagement in helping us learn from and make sense of the findings.
