The Development and Alumni Relations System (DARS) team is dedicated to enhancing the University's engagement with its alumni and donors through an advanced constituent relationship management system. Our team focuses on supporting this CRM system to drive fundraising and strengthen alumni relations, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous improvement in our processes and user support.

About the Role

As a member of the User Engagement team, your role will be integral to supporting and enhancing the University's CRM system for development and alumni engagement. Key responsibilities include:

• User Training and Engagement: Develop and update training courses, create learning materials, and facilitate workshops to ensure effective user engagement with the DARS system.
• Business Process Improvement: Analyse and enhance business processes to optimize the functionality and efficiency of the DARS system.
• Support and Relationship Management: Provide comprehensive support through one-on-one coaching, project assistance, and managing key business partnerships to maintain strong collaborative relationships.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey information and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations.

This position will help us take the next big step up in how we engage with and serve our customers. Stewardship offers a broad range of services to the Christian community – Accounts Examination, Payroll Bureau, Charity Formation, Consultancy Helpline, Lending, a giving platform and Philanthropy Services. We are looking to extend our use of Salesforce to integrate the customer information from these different services.

This role will work with the Head of Enterprise Applications and a project manager to implement the staged roll-out of Salesforce components. Although the roll-out will be done in bite-sized chunks, those small components will sum up to a major shift in the organisation’s capabilities. You will also be optimising business processes, making Stewardship staff’s jobs simpler and more efficient. Once the system is up and running, you will manage its ongoing evolution. The net result of all of this is that Stewardship will be a more efficient and effective organisation, better able to deliver the excellent customer service we are known for.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Management Accountant to help drive improvement in our financial systems. The main responsibilities of this role are: 

Relationship Management 

• To act as the lead and relationship manager with partners on behalf of Think Active Lead, or support on the development of local partnerships and networks promoting collaboration across all relevant sectors 

• Raise awareness of funding opportunities available to increase participation in sport and physical activity. 

• Lead, or support on the development of local place partnerships that align multiple agendas with partners from across different sectors and advocate for the benefits of physical activity. 

Project Management 

• To act as the lead for Sport England and other projects and initiatives managed by Think Active. 

• High quality Project Management that ensures projects aims are clear, that they are delivered on time and on budget and in line with our values.

Financial Management

Marketing and Communications  

• Contribute to Think Active’s Active Societies objective by aligning projects and work align with and enhance the work of the Marketing and Communications Lead. 

• By building partnerships and brand visibility you will play an important role in enhancing Think Active’s marketing and communications efforts by strategically cultivating and managing partnerships. This includes developing and implementing joint marketing campaigns with partners to elevate Think Active (and our partners and funders) brand visibility.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and agile manager who will be at the heart of the organisation and will lead a small team of qualified tutors and volunteers in continuing to provide high quality experiences for the people who attend. This role is responsible for strategic development with the guidance of the Board of Trustees, income generation, and the management of all aspects of service delivery. It is our intention to appoint a new post of Activity Co-ordinator to support the Charity Manager as budgets allow. You will play an active part in designing this role so that it enhances our delivery and increases capacity within the organisation.

Stepping Stones is a thriving, longstanding and highly valued community organisation. We have delivered activities for over 30 years and our weekly classes are an important part of the lives of people who attend.

Our main delivery is a timetable of up to 14 weekly classes from our base in a multipurpose community centre. We also have activities off site including gardening at a local allotment and music and art classes at a day centre and residential home. Each week over 100 people benefit from our activities.

About the role
We are seeking a Partnership Manager experienced in winning, developing and managing funding relationships (trust and foundations, corporate and paid delivery partnerships). 
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation, HFTF’s Partnership Manager will be an integral part of the Fundraising team responsible for growing and managing our partnerships, driving the charity forward, increasing impact, securing increasing and sustainable funding and engaging increasingly wider and more diverse segments of society, in our work - equipping citizens across the UK with the tools they need to have effective and impactful conversations with their local politicians on climate change and nature.

Combining exceptional fundraising knowledge and an ability to think innovatively and strategically, this role will be essential to establishing new funding from trusts and foundations, corporate and paid delivery partnerships and stewarding these towards longer term support for our vision - that together, communities and politicians secure a healthy planet for all.

Terms and conditions
Hours: Full time (35 hours) with the option for flexible working.We’d be open to a part time role for the right candidate. The role may require some evening and weekend work.
Pay: £33,920 - £37,736 per annum, plus £3k London Weighting for staff who live in the qualifying postcode areas.

In joining Fauna & Flora’s Trusts & Foundations team, you will be playing an important role in supporting international environmental conservation efforts, alongside an amazing global network of colleagues, partner organisations and donors.

The Trusts & Foundations Manager will work in the Institutional Funding department, to manage and develop an existing portfolio of donors that fund the organisation’s work.

Our success to date is far reaching with donors from all corners of the world supporting Fauna & Flora to deliver over 130 projects in more than 40 countries. To build on this, we are seeking an experienced fundraiser, with a proven track record in fundraising from trusts and foundations and/or government bodies, or in a comparable field. The role will suit someone with external facing experience to influence funder giving, and you will use your excellent relationship management skills to strengthen links with funders and cultivate opportunities for growth. Experience in securing funds from the USA and/or mainland Europe is desirable.

A key part of the role is also working with Fauna & Flora’s conservation programme teams to build the fundraising pitch and turn their visions into accurate and compelling proposals and reports - you will have excellent attention to detail when it comes to writing and reviewing documents.

Success in this role is only possible through good working relationships and a pro-active approach. Interpersonal and time-management skills are critical to enabling you to build strong internal working relationships, as you bring information together to meet deadlines.

• Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, community groups and grant giving trusts and foundations. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.
   
• Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. About the role

Smart Works exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. We are currently in a significant growth phase, doubling the number of women we support to 10,000 women a year by 2025. As such, we require vital cornerstone funding and are seeking to establish a Major Gifts function, to secure donations from high-net worth individuals, that will enable us to achieve our mission and help thousands of women to transform their lives.

This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. Supported by the Director of Partnerships, you will work closely with the CEO, Board, and our network of 750 volunteers, to develop a giving strategy that will engage and grow a new pool of crucial supporters for Smart Works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing major donors, as well as conducting prospect research, developing bespoke stewardship materials, and securing five-figure and six-figure repeat gifts.

We seek an excellent communicator, with significant experience in influencing, negotiating and exceeding set targets. Creativity, an understanding of women’s fashion, and knowledge of wealth circles would also be advantageous.

The Fundraising and Partnerships team are based in London. This is a hybrid role, working from a London centre at least twice per week, with the opportunity to work across our North, West and South London centres. Some evening and weekend work is required to lead on philanthropic fundraising and support wider partnership team events.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, the successful candidate will:

• Lead the development and delivery of a giving programme, building a pipeline and carrying out proactive prospect research
• Secure five-figure and six-figure multi-year gifts from major donors, to exceed income targets
• Research and identify prospective major donors who could support Smart Works, through existing warm networks and via outreach to cold audiences
• Work collaboratively across teams and functions to produce creative and compelling propositions and materials to secure both core and restricted funding
• Represent Smart Works to a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences to generate income and raise brand awareness
• Develop cultivation events considering regional hotspots
• Acknowledge, thank and recognize donors appropriate to their level of support and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
• Manage donor database and reporting
• Support Smart Works’ local centres across the UK and share learnings and guidance to help others build their Major Gifts potential

Skills, knowledge and personal attributes

Essential Criteria

• A track record of cultivating strong and positive relationships with multiple, senior and high-net worth individuals
• Demonstrable experience of making the ask, and an ability to support senior staff, volunteers and trustees to do so
• Interpersonal verbal communication and presentation skills, in order to foster strong relationships with donors and networks alike
• Target driven with excellent organisation and time management capabilities, demonstrating an ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Ability to prepare high-quality funding proposals and reports, adapting the communication style for different audiences and stakeholders to maximise impact
• Proactive, ambitious team player, able to work from own initiative
• Passionate and enthusiastic about the mission and vision of Smart Works

Desirable Criteria

• Proven track record in securing six figure major gifts income
• Outstanding written communication skills and strong attention to detail
• An understanding of the Philanthropy landscape and its current challenges, opportunities and trends
• Experience in database management

Head of Healthy Active Children

This is an exciting opportunity to join Active Oxfordshire in a senior management position, working with a fantastic team and multiple partners across the county. The role is indicative of the growth of Active Oxfordshire and the strategic relevance of physical activity in Oxfordshire, especially for children and young people. 

About the role:

Too few children in Oxfordshire get the opportunity to be active. We work with partners to tackle inequalities so that every child and young person in the county can have the best possible active start in life. 

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Active Oxfordshire, the successful candidate will lead the development and growth of our Healthy Active Children strategic work, build relationships with partners, line manage two members of the team and ensure our Healthy Active Children programmes of work complement each other.

About you:

 You will have experience in identifying strategic opportunities and the ability to develop and nurture relationships at a senior level in partner organisations.
As an experienced line manager, you will be able to bring people together around a specific agenda and create a sense of energy and purpose. 
You will have experience in managing budgets and identifying clear priorities to manage an interconnected workload.
A strong enthusiasm for our cause is a must, as well as the ability to articulate a compelling case for why physical activity is important for children and young people 

What we offer:

This is a fixed-term contract, initially for 18 months.  The role is a part-time position, working 3 days / 22.5 hours per week.
You will receive a salary of £27,810 (based on a 22.5 hour week, which is a full-time equivalent salary of £46,350) and benefits including a generous 10% contributory pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme, 38 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata) and our new bespoke Employee Support and Wellbeing Programme. 
Hybrid working is available, which means typically one day a week is in the office (Monday) with the rest of the week working remotely from home, within the community or with partner organisations.

We work alongside partners and local communities to break down barriers to physical activity.   Through our various programmes and partnerships, more children and young people in the county are able to learn to swim, ride a bike and enjoy being active together with their families. Our Move Together programme supports hundreds of people with long-term health conditions to move more, reduce loneliness and improve their health and wellbeing. With the cost-of-living crisis causing significant concern to our most vulnerable residents, our work is more important than ever. 

Our purpose is to empower communities, unify partners and challenge Oxfordshire’s extreme health inequalities, with the overall outcome of significantly increasing activity levels to transform health and wellbeing. We do this by working with local partners across multiple sectors and national organizations including Sport England, with whom we have agreed a 5-year funding package as a system partner.

Pre-Covid-19, Oxfordshire had one of the highest activity levels in the country but despite this, nearly 100,000 adults were doing less than 30 mins of physical activity per week while only just over half of our young people were active enough to meet the Chief Medical Officer’s guidelines. The situation has got worse as a result of widening health inequalities, which means that thousands of vulnerable residents are missing out on the opportunities they deserve to live an active life.
