The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.
Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.
You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.
This role is about;
• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);
• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;
• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;
• coordinating a range of activities (mainly online) to deliver information to Members, potential Members, referrers, and other stakeholders. These will include online talks from staff, Members and other “subject matter experts”; and
• helping to ensure the charity continues to understand the developing needs of its Members.
Although the role is home-based, you will not be working in isolation; you will be supported by the managers and workforce.
All our staff are home-based, and we maintain a strong caring culture of teamwork, mutual support and promoting wellbeing at work.
You may be exposed to traumatic narratives from our Membership, for many this is a reality in their lives. We do provide an extensive framework of clinical and managerial support but you do need to be an emotionally and psychologically resilient individual.

Job Purpose
As part of the four strong events team, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of numerous educational events throughout the year. These events support the clinical and non-clinical skills and professional development of our members as key components of lifelong learning and improvement.
In addition, the role will support the Events Manager in the administration of the showcase Annual Congress as well as the Admissions Ceremony. As part of the team, you will also assist other team members as necessary.
Main Purpose and Deliverables
- Delivery of the Training the Trainers Courses (TTT) and Certificate of eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) Courses.
- End to end event, speaker and customer support specifically for the TTT and CESR events and as delegated for the education and seminar programme.
- Assist in the management of the education and seminar programme as well as the Admissions Ceremony with the Events Manager.

Main responsibilities
- Liaising with the comms team to market events.
- Respond to all enquiries.

Summary of Role
Working under the direction of our Centre Managers at Arc in the Park and Abbey Hub, Youth Workers are key to ensuring the successful delivery of our provision for young people. The role will include the delivery of specific youth work projects and programmes delivered in accordance with the policies and procedures of AAA, helping young people to develop personally, socially and educationally. The role will include providing support to vulnerable and at-risk service users.
Responsibilities

About the opportunity
Corporate partnerships are critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year) of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations. We have been successful year on year in increasing our fundraising base by building secure multi-year partnerships. Part of our growth strategy is looking at building stronger relationships with corporate partners, having established a strong multi-year relationship for the first time this year worth £500k annually. We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead on our corporate partnership activities and initiatives, including growing income from corporate partners as well as increasing the number of corporate volunteer tutor applications we receive from them. Working within our Philanthropy Team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the line-management and development of two Corporate Partnership Coordinators, ensuring that, as a team, you meet your corporate income and volunteer application targets. Your focus will be on deepening and leveraging relationships with our existing partners, alongside engaging new organisations with our mission and vision.

Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. The MARAC Administrator will support the MARAC Coordinator in the administering the MARAC process. The post holder will be co-located in Brent and will be required to attend MARAC meetings in various locations as required. There will also be a requirement to attend Advance’s Headoffice
The MARAC Administrator will process MARAC referrals and flag to the MARAC Coordinator any referrals that have insufficient information or may not meet the MARAC threshold. Experience of office management and administration roles and experience of maintaining data systems and producing regular monitoring reports
