We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Volunteer for the West Central London Group. As our Fundraising Volunteer you’ll support your Group Coordinator to organise local fundraising activities and events throughout the year.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication and team working skills.Most importantly you’ll inspire your local community to raise funds that help make sure no one has to face MS alone.

We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for our Barnsley and District group. As our local Group Coordinator you’ll take the lead in making sure your local group works as effectively as possible. You’ll recruit, induct and support other group volunteers to make sure your group’s activities meet the needs of your local MS community. Become an Independent Visitor to be matched one to one with a young person in care. You will meet once or twice a month to take them out to do fun activities together. This is an opportunity for our young people to develop a healthy relationship with a trusted adult, have fun and share their worries and feelings if they are ready to do so.

We'll provide full training, all your expenses and ongoing support from dedicated staff. 

This is an opportunity for you to build skills and knowledge within social care and test yourself with real life experience of a young person in care.

About the project: 

People are most likely to find out they have MS in their thirties, forties and fifties; news that can be worrying and heart-breaking. Having somebody with local knowledge and can signpost to information and services can support people at the start of their MS journey.

The Helpdesk Project is a unique initiative where trained volunteers offer information on local services and peer support to people attending MS clinics at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. 

About the role: 

We are looking for Administration volunteers who can offer assistance to the Lead Support Volunteer to coordinate the running of the service by sending out information and rotas and taking meeting minutes. Please see the Role Description for examples of activities you may be involved in. 

Time and Commitment: 

One/two hours a week, which can be carried out at home 

Training:

You’ll receive role-specific training and support from the Lead Support Volunteer and the Regional Development Officer. There will also be quarterly volunteer support sessions you will be asked to attend.

Do you enjoy swimming?   
 
We are looking for a friendly volunteer to spend time with a gentleman we support and enjoy time in the pool together! 

If you would like to make a difference and make a great friend along the way, we would love to hear from you!     

Activities will include: 

• Swimming with the gentleman we support
• Helping to ensure he is safe and having fun
• Being there for company and friendship at the pool 

There will always be trained support workers present at the pool with you. 

 
 We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable/dependable and willing to commit to volunteer regularly 
• Comfortable chatting with people with learning disabilities and autism     

A DBS check and two-character references will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and deliver creative fundraising activities (raffles, online quizzes, challenge events, etc.)

• Engage and support individual fundraisers (e.g. sponsored runners, event hosts)

• Act as a key contact for fundraising volunteers providing encouragement, advice, and practical support

• Develop and maintain a central fundraising tracker (Excel or similar)

• Log all fundraising activity, targets, and deadlines

• Collaborate with our social media volunteer to promote campaigns

• Support recruitment and onboarding of new fundraising volunteers

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaged individual to join Maidstone Pride as our Events & Logistics Manager. This role will oversee the Events & Logistics team’s strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of Maidstone Pride’s projects and events. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the Events & Logistics team, ensuring events are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the aims of Maidstone Pride.

The Events & Logistics Manager will also liaise closely with individual event leads that are delivering projects Maidstone Pride is affiliated with.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of Maidstone Pride’s projects and events.

• Assist the development of event timelines, budgets, and logistic plans.

• Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and local authorities.

• Manage and support volunteer teams involved in events.

• Ensure legal compliance with events (such as Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, and Accessibility)

General Responsibilities

ROLDA UK is a registerd charity that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray dogs and cats in both Romania and the Ukraine.

As a Champion for ROLDA, you will play a crucial role in driving our online and in-person fundraising efforts. This position is ideal for a passionate individual dedicated to animal welfare who wants to help make a tangible difference towards our rescue efforts. In tandem with the ROLDA team, you will lead initiatives, develop strategies, and inspire supporters to contribute to ROLDA’s mission, amplifying our impact.

Key Responsibilities:
● Fundraising Strategy Development: Collaborate with ROLDA’s leadership to create and implement innovative online         and in-person fundraising campaigns.
● Campaign Management: Coordinate and execute engaging, high-impact fundraising campaigns, such as peer-to-peer       fundraisers, social media drives, and seasonal events.
● Event Leadership: Organise and attend fundraising events, representing ROLDA in the community. Recruit and manage     a team of event volunteers when necessary.
● Donor Engagement: Foster relationships with existing and potential donors, recognise and thank contributors, and               cultivate new support channels.
● Social Media Outreach: Collaborate with the social media team to create content that promotes fundraising efforts and       highlights donor stories and campaign updates.

Requirements:
● Previous experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community engagement (experience in nonprofit organisations is a plus)

● Availability to attend periodic in-person events
