Background to project work
1. Inclusive Family Planning Project (IFPLAN)
Sightsavers is implementing several disability inclusive projects in Nigeria, Kenya and Bangladesh under the global consortium led Disability Inclusive Development (DID) programme. The DID programme is guided by the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and aims to develop evidence of what works to deliver results for people with disabilities.
The Inclusive family planning project (IFPLAN) implemented in Kaduna state is part of the Disability Inclusive Development (DID) programme, under the Inclusive Futures umbrella, funded by FCDO and will be led by Sightsavers in a consortium with BBC Media Action.
The project implemented from January 2022 to December 2025 has a budget of approximately £2.9 million and aims to achieve three key outcomes:
1. People with disabilities having increased knowledge of intention to use, and perceived support from others to access, available family planning services.
2. Service providers delivering inclusive, accessible healthcare services and information to people with disabilities.
3. OPDs meaningfully engaging in policy and decision-making processes and advocating for disability inclusion in the health sector through different structures.
IFPLAN seeks to strengthen its ability to systematically capture, analyse, and use evidence of outcomes generated through its inclusive and accessible SRHR intervention in Kaduna. Outcome Harvesting (OH) will offer a participatory and unique approach to identifying, verifying, and interpreting outcomes particularly reflective of the activities implemented through IFPLAN’s work which as earlier noted involved various approaches of interventions in the community and through the mainstream and digital media.
2. Shikhbo Shobai Inclusive Education Program
The Disability Inclusive Development (DID)-Education is a consortium program led by Sightsavers in partnership with ADD International, and Sense International aims to strengthening systems for the enrolment, retention and support of children with disabilities at primary level of mainstream education in Bangladesh. The program in Bangladesh is ending in December 2025. The primary goal of the Task Order 45 (TO45) is to ensure children of 5-10 years old have access to some form of education and support and to reach children with severe and multiple disabilities who are now excluded from the education provision. The program mapped out the target groups and key stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes. They are children with severe and multiple disabilities, parents/caregivers, organization of peoples with disability (OPD), school administration, and the community people. The program is implemented in 45 (forty-five) government primary schools (GPS) in three Upazila (Narshingdi Sadar, Tarash, Sirajganj Sadar) under two districts (Narshingdi and Sirajganj).
What the project work will focus on
Sightsavers are inviting bids from consultancies or consultants to engage an expert who will develop an outcome harvesting and Most Significant Change (MSC) facilitation guides tailored to IFPLAN’s context, aligned with established OH and MSC principles, and adaptable for both in-person and virtual facilitation sessions.
Key responsibilities
The consultant should seek to achieve the following objectives.
- Develop facilitator guidance notes for OH workshop including the agenda, activity guides, question prompts, data capture templates, and analysis tools.

- For OH, develop outcome database or matrix compiling the outcome statements, contribution analysis, significance, verification sources, categorization (intended or unintended, positive or negative, short-term/long-term) and linked strategies.
- For OH and MSC, learning and use plan or summary explaining how the findings will be used for decision-making, adaptation, or strategic planning by the relevant stakeholders.
- Write the draft report after the workshop sessions reports has been compiled by the MEL team.
- Review and refine the final report considering the comments from the project team.
Timeline
The evaluation will run from 28 September 2025 to 30 November 30, 2025.
Consultant’s expertise
- Proven expertise in Outcome Harvesting (OH) and Most Significant Change (MSC) methodology and facilitation.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to write compellingly in different styles according to the product and audience.
- Extensive experience producing learning papers using qualitative research methods and other learning products to support the dissemination of learning such as blogs, videos, articles, infographics for example.
- Experience in working with service providers, local communities, OPDs.
- Experience in the field of social inclusion, particularly for women, girls and people with disabilities will be an added advantage.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and facilitation.
- Experience working on projects / programmes funded through FCDO or other international donors that have adopted learning for adaptation/adaptive management.
- Knowledge of Nigeria and Bangladesh context is an added advantage.

The Richmond Group has delivered a programme of work, funded by Sport England, including delivery of We Are Undefeatable (WAU), a social marketing campaign, the development of resources for patients and professionals, packs, evaluation of a suite of physical activity projects and a system influencing programme.

Responsible Finance and CDFIs are poised for exciting growth following two record-breaking funding announcements in late 2024 which has seen the sector backed by Government and leading financial institutions including the British Business Bank and JPMorgan Chase. This follows Lloyds Banking Group becoming the first mainstream lender to invest in the CDFI sector earlier in the year.
This new funding will enable business-lending CDFIs to scale their reach and impact, supporting economic growth and financial inclusion across the UK. Successful candidates will play a vital role in helping to make sure that CDFIs are supported to build their operational capacity and maximise the opportunity this brings.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to help us to deliver an ambitious Capacity Building programme for our business-lending CDFIs and support our wider and growing member base. The Role
The Project Support Officer will assist in the delivery of key projects and support the Programme Director and Programme Managers in ensuring the smooth running of a Programme Management Office (PMO) at Responsible Finance.
The role holder will support the timely and quality delivery of projects and programmes, including playing a key role in producing timely information and reports, and ensuring the smooth running of programme meetings and boards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting aspects of Responsible Finance’s communications activity including generating content for and distributing the member newsletter, as well as supporting the effective delivery of events and website updates.
- Ensuring the smooth running of an important and high-profile bank referral pilot project, monitoring email referrals and data entry with a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and timelines.
- Assisting in the delivery of key work streams and projects, including the monitoring and reporting of grants to support capacity building.

We also coordinate the Democracy Classroom network, a partnership between over 100 civil society organisations that supports young people to engage in elections.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working with schools, sixth forms and further education colleges, the Head of Education and Content will support them to prepare for the lowering of the voting age to 16 and to engage their students in elections and democratic education.
The post holder will design and adapt resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the further education and civil society sectors.
Working with the Director and the Head of Programmes, the post holder will:

Main Purpose of Role
CFAB is a national charity and the UK-branch of the International Social Service network. Our social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and another country. CFAB social workers engage in direct work with beneficiaries through kinship assessments and risk assessments.
The main purpose of the role is: to manage a caseload of complex cases originating in the UK or overseas which involve child protection issues; to support, advise and quality assure the work of social workers in other countries; to deliver training to professionals on issues related to international social work, and: when needed, to complete kinship assessments of family members who have come forward to care for a child in care.
Note: Whilst there are some opportunities to complete direct work with service users, such opportunities are limited as the focus of the role involves supporting social workers abroad and delivering training to UK Local Authorities.
Main duties, tasks and key results
1. To hold a caseload of allocated cases originating in the UK or overseas
- Quality assuring complex kinship and parenting assessments completed by social workers abroad for court proceedings in the UK.
- Managing complex cases requiring liaison with local authorities or individuals in the UK, and the relevant authorities overseas to resolve the case;
- Assessing cases referred to CFAB, identifying the intervention required and the resources/agency to undertake it
- Preparing information for referral abroad or to an agency in the UK;

About the role:
University Access Officers are responsible for delivering The Access Project’s high impact mentoring programme to students across our partner schools. This role works with a caseload of students supporting them from the start of Year 12 up to the end of Year 13 to understand the pathway to a top university.
The role also involves project coordination. You will work with our schools, volunteers and teams across The Access Project to ensure young people are inspired and supported to have the best possible chance of achieving social mobility and enhancing their future prospects.
This role is for a University Access Officer to work in one of our schools in Nottinghamshire delivering our Accelerate programme.
Role responsibilities
Mentoring - Work directly with young people by mentoring a caseload of students in a professional and safe manner:
- Deliver our University Readiness programme through in-depth, targeted 1:1 mentoring sessions with Year 12 and Year 13 students
- Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications.
- Support Year 12 and 13 students to complete self-paced learning modules on our dedicated platform, The Access Hub, delivering interventions where necessary.
- Use knowledge and information gathered through mentoring students to flag potential issues within volunteer/student interactions so that appropriate quality assurance can be conducted.
- Deliver high quality and informative assemblies to students across KS3 and 4 – introducing them to the power of mentoring, de-mystifying the path to university and building their motivation to succeed.
- Support partner schools with trip logistics, acting in a leadership position when accompanying students on school trips.
- Direct enrolled students to appropriate wider enrichment opportunities, encouraging both extra and super-curricular participation and reflection.
Project coordination and management:
- Support partner school with recruitment of students, leading on the enrolment and induction of selected eligible students to ensure that The Access Project has fully enrolled and engaged cohorts.
- Lead on student facing communications by collaborating with the wider delivery team to case manage students on the programme. This could mean acting as point of consultation for pairing students with coaches/tutors or coming up with solutions when students are not engaging across the whole programme.
- Support the tuition and coaching team in driving student attendance at volunteer sessions (coaching and tuition), including acting as a point of escalation through mentoring and liaising with schools to make decisions/actions to offboard/replace students if deemed necessary.
- Lead quality assurance of coaching pairings completing a caseload of drop ins.
- Send regular summary updates to school as their key point of contact. Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme.
- Upload information onto the Salesforce database in a timely manner (training is provided).
- Support with creation of school reports and present at school meetings with Managers to report on programme progress.
- Support the wider team by attending university site visits which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).
- Participate in working groups, programme design and annual reviews to drive continuous improvement.

About The East End Community Foundation (EECF)
EECF supports communities through our charitable activities of grants and programmes. Crossness Pumping Station is a unique, world heritage site built in 1865 to help rid London of cholera. Lying abandoned since the 1950s, it has been lovingly restored by a group of enthusiasts and volunteers since 1987.
