We are addressing unequal access to alternative healthcare with a focus on energy healing.

Pranic Evolution is a small but growing team whose aim is to provide practical, video-based lessons to empower all those who have the desire to do so to become effective energy healers.

There is a growing body of evidence (both scientific and anecdotal, experiential) showing the effectiveness of various energy healing modalities such as Pranic Healing and Reiki in easing (and often even completely alleviating) the suffering caused by a number of physical, mental and emotional ailments. Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Pranic Healing, imagined a world with one energy healer in every household, irrespective of their culture or socioeconomic status, and we want to do whatever we can to assist in this noble mission.

The beauty of energy healing is that no special ability, material or tool is required for it to be carried out effectively, other than knowledge and dedicated practice of the techniques, a clear mind, a sincere will and a compassionate heart open to helping and serving others. We know that there are millions of kind, loving, caring individuals around the world who could become excellent energy healers but have not so far had the opportunity to explore this avenue because of limited awareness of its potential, and also the time and cost incurred in attending courses.

Our intention is to share all that we have learned about energy healing with anyone who might find it of help or interest. We see this as both our duty and our privilege. We plan to do this predominantly through a series of free of charge, freely accessible, ad-free video tutorials run through YouTube, which we hope to translate into as many languages as possible in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. We will not ever charge or profit in any way from our work or from the video or social media channels we create. Our work is funded entirely by private contribution, and we do not even have a bank account.

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

We need someone with organisational skills, and experience in administration within an organisation. You will work closely with the main teacher, to enable us to fulfil our goals in an efficient way. If you are an Energy Healer this would be very helpful, although not essential. We are looking for someone who can provide an ongoing commitment, and therefore this is not a short term role.

Key Responsibilities:

Exit Procedures & Offboarding

• Manage end-to-end exit processes for resignations, retirements, and contract conclusions, ensuring a respectful and consistent experience.
• Conduct exit interviews (virtually), document feedback, and share insights with the Talent Advisory team to identify trends and improve retention.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and managers to ensure the timely return of equipment and access revocation.

HR Records & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records (digital and physical), including contracts, right-to-work documents, and visa expiry dates.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for internal and external compliance reviews (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
• Track and renew right-to-work checks, visas, and other legal requirements, flagging expiries proactively.

Administrative Support

• Assist the Talent Advisory team with administrative tasks, including drafting ER case correspondence, updating HRIS data, and generating reports.
• Manage HR system updates (e.g., employee status changes, promotions) and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Coordinate team calendars, meetings, and training sessions to optimise workflows in a remote setting.

Data Protection & Security

• Serve as the first point of contact for data protection queries, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
• Train employees and managers on the secure handling of sensitive HR information in a remote work environment.
• Monitor access permissions to HR systems and escalate potential breaches to the Manager: Talent Advisory.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in HR administration, data management, or a similar role. Exposure to remote work environments is a plus.
• Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday), Google Products, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting policies, reports, and employee correspondence.

Purpose of the Role: 

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Volunteer to support Blackfriars Settlement in leveraging internal and external data to improve our impact in the Southwark community. This role focuses on analysing internal datasets and connecting insights with relevant public sector research, policies, and datasets to inform our services and advocacy efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyse internal data (e.g., service usage, demographics, outcomes) to extract trends and actionable insights. 

• Identify and access relevant public sector datasets (e.g., ONS, Southwark Council, NHS, DfE) related to social care, mental health, older people, employment, and poverty in Southwark. 

• Produce clear visualisations and summaries for use in internal reports, funding bids, and presentations. 

• Support the development of impact measurement frameworks aligned with local authority or NHS objectives. 

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to align data findings with service development and advocacy strategies. 

• Stay informed about public policy developments relevant to our beneficiaries in Southwark.

If your application is successful, we will ask for a donation towards the cost of your enhanced DBS check if it's required for your role. This cost is £20.60.

Our vision for volunteering

Volunteering is and always will be at the heart of Cats Protection. It is joyful and inclusive. As a charity, working in partnership, together we transform the lives of cats, people and communities.

The difference you will make to cats and people

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you! 

You can expect us to

• Make you feel welcome, included and respected in line with our values and behaviours
• Support you in having a positive and impactful experience at Cats Protection
• Cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses in line with our Expenses Policy
• Provide you with access to learning, development and engagement opportunities

What we need from you

This is a really flexible role, you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example: 

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins 

• online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations

• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press  

• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork

● championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement

● photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection
