As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. What can you expect to be doing?
This is a really flexible role – you can choose what you’d like to get involved with:
·Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins
·Online fundraising – setting up online appeals, increasing social media engagement to maximise funds raised
·Marketing – spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press
·Completing administration – processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork

About White Ribbon Alliance UK: We prioritise the eradication of gender-based violence and the promotion of gender equity in sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially for marginalised and underrepresented communities. We enable access to unbiased and evidenced-based resources, education, and support for women, girls, and trans individuals. We influence healthcare professionals, hospital systems, policy makers, and the public to centre the human rights of women, girls and trans men, intersex, and non-binary people throughout the lifecycle of their sexual health needs.
Purpose of the Role: The Volunteer Research Assistant will support White Ribbon Alliance UK's efforts to improve maternal and reproductive health by conducting research, analysing data, and contributing to reports and publications. Specific financial duties:

The Coroners' Courts Support Service (CCSS) is a registered Charity whose trained volunteers give emotional and practical support to bereaved families and other witnesses attending an inquest.
We need volunteers to provide emotional support and practical help to bereaved families, witnesses and others attending Inquests at Coroners' Court. Our volunteers at court also provide help and assistance to the Coroners' Officers, as and when required.
We are looking for reliable, supportive people with excellent communication skills. A mature and calm attitude is needed in order to be able to talk to people during a sometimes bewildering and emotional experience. Volunteers must be willing to undergo a period of observations and shadowing, as well as attend a 3 day training course. A minimum commitment of one day (9:00am - 5:00pm) per fortnight is asked for. - Working with the other trustees and our volunteers, the Trustee – Digital Fundraising lead will take a lead role in setting an effective fundraising strategy for DEx. You’ll work particularly closely with the lead trustee for fundraising, and our small social media volunteer team.
· Provide thought leadership on the role of digital in DEx’s fundraising and help build and implement this vision.
· Highlight the opportunities and the risks of digital, in terms of our strategy in general, and in reference to fundraising in particular.
· Translate the risks and opportunities of digital for other trustees, to enable the board as a whole to engage in an informed way.
· Provide strategic oversight of implementation of digital fundraising.
· Champion the use of data in board discussions, and in driving the delivery and improvement of fundraising.
· Draw on your networks to support our work.
· Help ensure that the operations team have the digital capabilities that they need to implement the strategy.

Context and purpose
- Downright Excellent (DEx) is a small charity committed to enabling children with Down syndrome to maximise their potential. We deliver a range of specialist interventions and support to children with Down syndrome and their families.
· The trustee with safeguarding expertise will be the main contact on the board for matters relating to child protection and safeguarding.
· You’ll be supported by our team who manage day to day safeguarding issues, with training provided whether it is new to you or you come from a safeguarding background.
· The skills, experience and expertise of the safeguarding trustee will help us ensure that we have the right polices, processes and practices in place.
Main responsibilities
· Be the point of contact on the trustee board for safeguarding matters, supported by our small safeguarding team
· As part of our trustee team, give firm strategic direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals and setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.
- Review our safeguarding policies and processes to ensure they meet current best practice.

Nyaka UK is seeking committed and dynamic individuals to join our Board of Trustees. Trustees play a vital role in providing strategic direction, governance oversight, and leadership to the charity. We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and experiences who are passionate about making a positive impact on global development issues.
Position: General Board Member & Trustee (Non-Portfilio)
Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Reporting Line: Chairperson & Officers
Role Overview:
Contract type: Voluntary (Unpaid) except for reasonable expenses.
Time Commitment: Adhoc - 5-10 hours per month, including board meetings, committee meetings, and other related activities.

Area of interest: Individuals with experience gained from private, third or public sectors in leadership positions with expertise in fundraising, event management, legacy donations, grant applications and writing, marketing, web development, and domain management, alongside experience with African communities. Essential Criteria:
