The Gray’s Inn Road supported accommodation project in Camden offers 16 short-stay places for people moving away from the streets and has quickly become a vital part of our mission to make rough sleeping in London rare, brief and not repeated. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service is still in its early years, giving the next Service Manager the chance to build on strong foundations and lead it into the future.

As Service Manager you will ensure the project continues to meet specification while remaining agile to local authority and organisational priorities. You will oversee referrals, move-on pathways and personalised support planning, making sure each resident receives tailored guidance that promotes independence. Job Title: Training Facilitator

Location: Our central office in Islington, just a 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station. We work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of two days a week spent in the office or at one of our services, along with regular travel to various sites across both inner and outer London. About the role

We have an exiting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join our Talent Development team, part of the wider People and Culture team here at SIG! In this role, you’ll oversee and deliver our specialised training programmes for our staff, residents, participants, and external parties. You'll be at the heart of the full training journey including research training needs, designing and developing training content and delivering sessions both in person and online. No two days are the same. 
Some of the key subject areas include: 

De-escalation, conflict management, team building, grief and bereavement, housing/Independent living, employability, confidence and self esteem, and resilience

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

In this role, they will build and maintain therapeutic, person-centred relationships with young adults (18–25) who are transitioning from CAMHS or accessing mental health services for the first time. They will support clients in developing recovery-focused goals, encouraging engagement in services, community life, and personal development, while also providing emotional and practical assistance during this transition. This includes accompanying clients to appointments, meetings, or community activities where additional support is needed. They will work collaboratively with carers, families, and professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to care and sustained community inclusion. The role also involves facilitating access to local community resources and opportunities aligned with clients' interests and wellbeing goals, as well as identifying and helping to develop new partnerships and services that promote mental health and reduce inequalities. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all interactions, support plans, assessments, and outcomes in line with data protection and service standards. Monitoring client wellbeing, addressing emerging risks, and escalating safeguarding or crisis concerns as necessary will also be key responsibilities. Additionally, they will participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to support professional development and continuous service improvement.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have a GCSE-level education with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and be willing to complete BEH Peer Worker Training and a Wellness at Work plan. A Health or Social Care qualification and ongoing training commitment are desirable. They will have lived experience of mental health challenges and secondary care use, along with supportive life experiences that inspire others. Experience in support roles, teamwork, and knowledge of recovery tools and principles is essential, as is an awareness of issues like stigma and discrimination. Desirable experience includes psychiatric hospital admission, mentoring, working in public or voluntary sectors, cross-organisational collaboration, and knowledge of local mental health services. Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills are required, along with basic IT proficiency; skills in Microsoft Office or additional languages are a plus. The candidate should be motivated, reliable, flexible, and resilient, with clear professional boundaries.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Manager to lead our Healthier Lifestyle team which includes a team of 3 part time Project Officers,  2 x Dementia Project officer 1 x Dementia Carers Group Support Adviser and a great team of volunteers.

Addressing health inequalities and fulfilling our mission means that the Healthier Lifestyles service has opportunity to grow and expand.  We want to reach younger older people to encourage “Act Now Age Well” . An important element of this role will be looking for opportunities to develop existing services and introduce a new services including some paid services.  The Healthier Lifestyles Manager is a member of the Integrated Leadership team to support our One Organisation One team ethos for integrated working and holistic support for the older residents of Croydon.

Some duties will include (but are not limited to) –

1. Monitor and manage workload, organise schedules, ensuring that work is purposeful, targets are clear and support staff to reach their potential and feel valued.
2. Support staff with regular supervision using the Age UK Croydon Empowerment Striving for Excellence, Innovation process
3. Recruit and manage staff in line with Age UK Croydon's policies and guarantee that efficient and effective procedures are in place.
4. Oversee recruitment and support for volunteers across the service.
5. Carry out regular supervision and appraisals and provide encouragement and support for staff including encouraging skills development and progression

Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid, minimum 1 day/week in the office (South London)
Pay: £24.72 per hour plus £2.98 per hour holiday pay (equivalent to a full-time annual salary of £45,000)

Charity People are delighted to be working with a Trust based in Crystal Palace, responsible for the management of one of London's most historic and vibrant green spaces. The park is home to woodlands, lakes, playgrounds, heritage assets, and cultural landmarks, welcoming thousands of visitors every year. They are seeking an Finance Manager to provide stability and oversight during a period of transition.

This is a hands-on role with a broad remit, ideal for an experienced finance professional who is confident working in a small team and happy to balance financial management with some office administration and oversight responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Finance (approx. 70%)

• Manage the effective running of the Finance function, including weekly supplier payments and the month-end close process.
• Oversee accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, VAT tracking, inter-company transactions, and journals.
• Lead the budgeting process and produce accurate management accounts for the Senior Leadership Team and Board.
• Provide financial information for fundraising, bids, and reporting against restricted and unrestricted income.
• Support income generation activities with financial projections and advice.
• Ensure value for money and compliance with policies and financial regulations.

HR, IT & Administration (approx. 30%)

• Line manage the Finance & Administrative Officer.
• Coordinate HR tasks such as payroll, recruitment, and maintaining staff records.
• Oversee office administration, IT systems, contracts, and service providers.
• Maintain effective digital file management and accurate records.

About You

• Recognised accounting qualification (AAT or above).
• Experience working in the charity sector with knowledge of charity SORP, company accounts, and restricted/unrestricted income.
• Proficient in financial systems (Xero desirable) and Excel.
• Experience managing small group accounts and line management responsibility.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working across finance and operations.

Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering offers an activity centre to residents of Redbridge aged 55 or above, to use for exercise and craft among other classes, and to enjoy light refreshments and a daily, 2 course, freshly prepared lunch.

A part time cook is required, to provide lunches (main course and dessert) and work alongside a small team to include; two other part time cooks and approximately 12 volunteers.  The centre is overseen by an onsite manager who will look after the day to day running of the centre, and who line manages the cooks and volunteers.

The ability to work independently and with the help of a kitchen assistant volunteer is essential in order to prepare between 10 and 30 meals per day. We are looking for a qualified, experienced cook, with recent experience. You will need to have proof of relevant Food Hygiene training and an understanding of different dietary requirements, as well as allergy legislation and health and safety knowledge relevant to Kitchen work.

You would be expected to assist the manager in planning meals to keep within budgets and to assist with the preparation for special event occasion menus or other ad hoc catering that may be required.
