About the role

You will be part of the regional office team, managing a group of casework administrators. The team provides specialist administrative support and act as a single point of contact to SSAFA branch-based volunteers ensuring that SSAFA beneficiaries receive consistent, timely, and high-quality service. The RCM role will involve developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with volunteers, including branch-based casework managers.  Additionally, the RCM will occasionally assist the Regional Casework Co-ordinators with call handling, signposting, and triaging initial client enquiries.

To help you establish yourself in this post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.  You will influence the processes and procedures within the regional office as it develops, working closely with a dedicated team under the guidance of the Regional Manager.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North West region consisting of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Isle of Man, Lancashire and Merseyside. You will occasionally be required to travel within the North West Region or to other locations.

About the team

The regional office is a “virtual” office and supports the six SSAFA branches in the North West of England region, as the branch-based volunteers deliver casework for SSAFA beneficiaries.  The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include 5 Casework Administrators and a Regional Manager.  All team members are home based, residing in the region.

About you

To excel in this role, you should have a solid educational background and experience in managing employees, as well as overseeing and reporting on service delivery.  You should have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, achieving results through negotiation and influence.  Previous experience of working with volunteers would be advantageous.  You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard and be capable of learning a computerised case management system quickly. Additionally, you should be skilled with numerical data.

The successful candidate will be capable of planning and managing their own workload, with minimal supervision and have considerable experience of managing accounts.

It would be desirable to have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. Role Overview

The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.

About You

You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required. 

Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care

• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials

The Role

About The Role

As a Grants and Learning Officer, you’ll be helping us to deliver our ambitious, nationwide grants programme. We currently support over 500 grassroots organisations and 18-30 year old creatives, and have a busy grants cycle to manage, alongside ever-increasing numbers of applications. 

This year, we’re building and migrating to a new grants database and you’ll play an integral role on the project team. In addition, you’ll manage an assigned portfolio of grants, and help with all aspects of the funding cycle. You’ll support applicants and funded partners, make funding recommendations, administer grants, provide feedback and support, and visit projects. 

About You

First and foremost, you’ll be passionate about the work that Youth Music does. As a skilled administrator, you’re not fazed by planning, monitoring, reporting, and spreadsheets. You have an eye for detail. You’ve got good IT skills and working knowledge of how databases operate. With the development of our new database this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing processes and working with data and detail. 

You’re a collaborative worker who enjoys being part of a friendly team, as well as travelling on your own to build new relationships with a diverse range of people. As a grants manager you’ll have an instinct for what’s important – when to give advice, and when to step back.

Key Responsibilities 

Grant Making

• Relationship management for a diverse portfolio of grants within allocated areas or specialisms.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the music/creative landscape and issues affecting your allocated areas.
• Provide telephone, online (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, webinars) and email advice to potential applicants.
• Assess grant applications.
• Make recommendations to the assessment panel.
• Efficient and effective turnaround of grants administration, primarily through our grants databases (Salesforce and Grant Tracker).
• Ensure data in the grants database is accurate and up-to-date, and support with data input, analysis and cleansing.
• Review grant requirements and ensure quick processing of payments.
• Undertake visits to funded projects and attend events.
• Provide advice and feedback to successful and unsuccessful applicants.
• Support the running and facilitation of events.
• Contribute to the improvement of Youth Music’s funding processes and procedures in line with the flexible funding principles we’re committed to.
• Provide support to others in the wider Youth Music team.

Learning and Projects

• Undertake project-based tasks as part of wider team or organisational project work.
• Specialist knowledge about assigned areas of Youth Music’s work or operations and produce relevant outputs to help us and others to learn and develop.
• Produce resources and content for the Youth Music community.
• Present information and learning to internal and external colleagues.

General

• Carry out all such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the role.
• This post will require travel across the UK, occasionally involving overnight stays.

• Experience of working or volunteering in music education, music industries, grants management, youth work or advocacy, education, or not-for-profit settings.

Main Purpose of Role:

The Programme Support and Administrative Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of CFAB’s programmes and organisational functions. This role supports executive coordination, training delivery, family support administration, international social work logistics, and general office management. The postholder will work across teams to provide high-quality administrative support, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Programme Support and General Administration

• Monitor shared inboxes and switchboard calls.
• Respond to ad hoc staff queries and manage incoming post.

• Send initial and closure letters for client cases.
• Track inactive cases and follow up on referral forms.
• Prepare duty rotas, upload referrals and update the country information list.
• Support contract preparation and database maintenance for International Social Workers (ISWs).
• Support feedback collection and documentation.

• Assist with Mailchimp campaigns and mailing list research.

• Upload donations into Salesforce.
• Prepare donor thank-you letters and assist with prospect research.
• Provide general support across departments as needed.

Executive Support

• Schedule and coordinate meetings for the CEO and senior leadership, including diary management and events.
• Track meeting actions and follow-ups.
• Support minute-taking using ai and ad hoc research tasks.

Training & Learning Support

• Coordinate training calendars and liaise with teams.
• Update training materials and manage Eventbrite pages.
• Provide limited on-the-day training support and monitor certificates and surveys.

Facilities & Office Management

• Order stationery and maintain office tidiness.
• Support logistical tasks such as PAT testing, IT coordination, and office trackers.
