Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely alongside the rest of the team, the Head of Membership holds an integral position within Cobseo, centred around the day-to-day delivery of the membership function. The post-holder is responsible for pro-actively identifying and securing new members, processing membership applications, managing credit control that relates to membership fees, and acting as the primary point of contact for prospective/members and relevant stakeholders.
The Head of Membership will also drive the development of Cobseo’s membership offer, policies and processes via the design and delivery of a new, research-led, evidence-based Membership Strategy, which will include refining the membership criteria and enhancing membership benefits to elevate the value of Cobseo Membership.
The Head of Membership provides leadership to the Cobseo office team and Executive Committee on all membership matters. They leverage their knowledge of the sector and expertise in customer-centric delivery, in order to provide guidance on Membership decisions during Executive Committee meetings, of which the membership applications are a standing agenda item.
The Head of Membership will be the primary liaison for the new CRM/website project, working closely with the Director of Operations and the Head of Communication & Engagement to ensure that the new system is commissioned, launched, and integrated successfully. They will work with external suppliers including routinely with the external bookkeeper, and on a project basis with the CRM provider and CRM implementation partner to ensure value-for-money procurement and effective project delivery.
As a member of the small Cobseo office team, the Head of Membership, along with the other members of the office team, is expected to lean into issues, opportunities, and workstreams that arise, sometimes at short notice and occasionally outside of their own portfolio.
This role is full time (34.5 hours per week) and is office-based in London for at least 2 days per week in order to facilitate positive relationships with the rest of the team and with stakeholders. There is an option for hybrid/homeworking the rest of the week. Some UK travel is required and the post-holder will occasionally be required to work from external sites, such as events’ venues or in order to visit members’ premises. Normal working hours are maintained wherever possible noting that business activity of a membership organisation, including for some events, is held outwith normal office hours.
The Head of Membership role doesn’t currently have line management responsibility. As the size and shape of the Cobseo office team develops over time, this may change.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Functions
Working with the Board/ Trustees to develop ICAP’s clinical strategy including:
- Reporting to icap’s Board, on progress against icap’s clinical and operational strategy,
- Preparing Board Reports and Risk Register
- Deputise for the CEO.
Work with CGSC chair and trustee members to:
- Develop clinically appropriate Policies, Procedures and Processes. Promote a culture of learning within the clinical team, ensuring therapists are up to date and engaged with data collection, reporting and monitoring.
- To pro-actively participate as a member of icap’s Executive Team, attending board meetings, Clinical Governance Sub Committee meetings and a regular calendar of fundraising events
Clinical Facing function:
Work with the Clinical Managers to support them with the day-to-day management of the clinical service. Line Management oversight of the Supervision function of the organisation. Act as the DSL for Adult Safeguarding including the training, risk management, recording and reporting of all safeguarding activity. Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.
Oversee the Implementation and roll out of CORE CMS across the service. (New project)
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.
Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.
Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.

Role summary
The London Support Programme (LSP) is a pilot service delivered by the Hardman Trust, providing pre- and post-release support to people on long sentences who are returning to London. This first year of delivery has enabled us to begin offering support, and we are now refining the programme for its next stage.
We are recruiting two part-time, Prison Caseworkers to deliver frontline support, ensuring that people serving long sentences continue to receive consistent, personalised help in preparing for release and rebuilding their lives.
As a Prison Caseworker, you will provide one-to-one, person-centred support focused on wellbeing, confidence-building, and preparation for life after release.
You will support people to set meaningful goals, connect with services, and problem-solve challenges along the way.
The role involves building trusting relationships, promoting the programme across the prison, keeping accurate records, and contributing to the continued development of this pilot into a sustainable, long-term service.
You will be managed and supported by the Head of Service Delivery.
Core responsibilities

One-to-one support delivery – Provide tailored support to people in prison signed up to the LSP, including initial support planning, goal-setting, problem-solving and referrals to both internal (e.g. Grants, Research Volunteers, Penfriends) and external services.

Remote support – Provide light-touch support to LSP participants released from prison, during their initial weeks of resettlement, using telephone/video calls, and email to check in, offer guidance, and help address early challenges.

Service promotion – Actively promote the LSP within pilot and potential partner prisons to increase sign-ups and engagement.

Administration – Keep accurate, timely records of support activities and outcomes using Salesforce and NOMIS systems.

Service development – Support the Head of Service Delivery by contributing learning and feedback from frontline delivery, to inform the ongoing refinement of the programme model and resources.

AUKLS is looking for a passionate and organised Transport Coordinator to manage our Community Connections Lewisham Transport scheme. This volunteer-led service supports local residents who struggle to use public transport due to physical or psychological barriers, helping them get to appointments, activities and essential services.
You’ll be the heart of the operation – matching service users with volunteer drivers, overseeing bookings and referrals, and ensuring the service runs smoothly and safely.

The role
We are seeking a motivated Development Coordinator to support our ambitious Development team in fundraising for a museums and galleries across the UK. You’ll be central to building relationships with supporters, patrons and new prospects, and ensuring they feel connected to the impact of their philanthropy for a wide range of museum programmes and projects. This is an exciting time to join Art Fund’s fundraising team as we work to increase our investment in our network of over 1,000 museums and ensuring they are dynamic, evolving and ambitious spaces, for everyone.
The successful candidate will be eager to expand their fundraising experience with a focus on individual giving, highly organised, an excellent written and verbal communicator with a keen interest in museums and galleries.
As a key member of the Development team, you will:
- Help manage and grow Art Partners, our patrons membership group, delivering outstanding stewardship through engaging communications and in-person interactions.
- Maintain the highest standards of gift administration and working closely with colleagues in the Development team to ensure supporters feel valued at every step.
- Support and deliver a varied and inspiring events programme, showcasing the impact of Art Fund’s support for UK museums and galleries.
- Manage a portfolio of individual donors, developing cultivation plans, building strong relationships, and securing meaningful gifts that advance our charitable programme.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.
